Guest Red32sky
looks like the epa guys are down in ballarat at the moment, I got pulled up last night and the cop told me to follow him down to their testing station, I failed with my exhaust they said I have to be under 90 decibels but I got 99 so I have 28 days to get it fixed. Just a word of warning to you Ballarat fellers. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/10878-epa-in-ballarat/ Share on other sites
SKY031
It was raining in Melbourne last night..... did it rain in Ballarat? Because they can't perform the test if it's raining, so if it was raining, then I'd be following ip the legality of the test. (this would also give you a bit of time to install a restrictor plate;) ) But..... in a way, the fact that they had their own testing station is a good thing; around Melbourne you have to take your car to an approved tester, and pay to have the test done. Guest Red32sky
It had been raining but it wasnt when they did the test, they were actually quite good about it all i suppose because they were going to fine me and canary the car but i stayed polite to them and it was the first time ive been tested so they skiped all that this time and said to fix it and get it tested again.
