G'day,

Have for sale for a Apache Warrior Clubman Go-kart, race ready (as of last year, if the rules haven't changed).

Kart comes with side, front and rear pods (brand new), a box of parts and goodies (oils etc), competition racing pipe, 15 lap old MG Red racing slicks, kart trolley, new chain, new spark plug, new brake pads and new carbie kit all installed already.

Kart was originally purchased to start getting into karting/racing but I am now starting my policing career that requires a fair bit of uni fee's which need to be paid so unlucky for me all the toys need to go ;)

Kart has been tuned by my local karting shop (Precision Motorsport at Tuggerah) and is actually pretty quick for an older model kart. I bought this kart second hand, since then prepared the kart for racing (new pipe, new chain, new carbie kit, spark plug, new pods, new slicks, new pads) but has only been used for one practice session on Newcastle track and a few trips around the block (ooops). The motor is the competition motor of Clubman series which is Yamaha KT100S engine (15hp 2 stroke). The motor is very strong making plently of power, has a strong power band which is felt when you get in the kart for the first time :D starts first time everytime even after long break in between running

I have always transported this kart in the back of my hatch pulsar as it only just fits, so it will need a trailer is these Clubman karts are fairly large.

$1200, located on the Central Coast.

Have been away for most of this year so I'm assuming the rukles have not been changed to begin racing.

Any questions/queries feel free to PM. Will get picss in the next few days and post them up.

Cheers

sori dude, but just a heads up...doesnt pay to assume. For competition: pipe has changed for this year so that one is illegal...also depends what conrod the motor is running, lots used to run a 'J' rod but now must be original 'S' rod....but hey great price for a recreational kart!

Cheers,

Michael

    • Let large companies that are making money off selling kits do the preliminary engineering for you. If they all do -10, then that is all you'll ever need.
    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
