Hi all

As per this thread, which wire would I cut in a R34 GTT? For the 34 GTR it is supposedly the brown one.

common sense says if it works on both r33 gtr and r34 gtr, it should work on r34 gtt. nissan probably has very similair wiring for these basic components in all their models around the same year range..

just a guess though don't hold me to my word I suggest you cut the brown wire and if the button still works then strip it and fix it back together with the tape hehe

What if you already have an aftermarket alarm??

Wouldnt bending back the window set if off??

Or does his trick only apply to standard alarms??

Opening the door will set off the alarm so yes, it will trigger the alarm. It is the fact that hitting this button opens all the doors that is the security risk... Even so, if they can get to the central locking button then they can probably get to the door lock too so I am not sure cutting this this is solving much, unless it is really easy to get to that button compared to the lock? And if you don't have a security system installed !

I think it is easier to reach the button than the lock.

I would like to think it was the brown wire in my car but want to be sure.

Just checking here to see if anyone has actually done it.
