Hey guys,

I installed an R32 GTS-T Hybrid Intercooler kit (600x300x76) and well... after some hard driving the other night, the engine bay was hot as all... **** but the pipes were AT MOST 4 degrees C... but when compared to the stock piping, which you still use a little bit of, it was still kind of hot, but maybe that was about 10 degrees C. So, FMIC... Highly Recommended!!!!

Installed it with the help of a mate in my garage, and did the front bar myself (Very time consuming)...

NEED TO CUT A LOT OF THE Standard Front Bar to fit it back on! NOTE: kit was for a R32 (RB20DET) NOT Cefiro.

Please excuse the dirty drift pig look :D

nice ceffy but i think you need to keep cutting as the opening doesnt quite look right

What do you mean?... An aftermarket front bar would be nice, but cash... ya know... Plus the lack of EVERYTHING except for URAS and URAS style bodykits, which IMHO look well tacky!...

I used to have what appeared to be the same front bumper/bar as you, but recently changed it...

DUDE, I've been looking for that EXACT same bar for ages...only place I found on was on the Japan Auctions (Yahoo)... Where'd you get it?... Yeah Looks like we both had the stock bar, but modified it accordingly... I tried to make it look like it "fit in" with the car, and a bit Jap Spec, so cut the numberplate part out, and 'relocated' the plate to one side (j-spec :P) Nice car man :P

PLUS, for those who've not had a standard bar to work with... that sucker from the number plate cuts back in to the body SO far it's insane... probably on a 60 degree angle, back in towards to main body of car... hence why FMICs look massive on these cars, with standard cut bars.

I'm actually in Thailand, where there are lots of bodyshops that have every different style of bodykit imaginable..... so I know it doesn't help your search to find it in Australia.

Mine is a fiberglass copy, which while being very cheap - isn't a perfect fit. The bodyshop got quite $hitty about it when I complained it didn't fit perfectly, but I think I can modify it to make it fit slightly better - so if you are going for a copy, be very careful and trial fit it [and modify accordingly] before its painted.

Nice car man :P

Thanks for the positive comment... I like it a lot. Here's another photo

I think it makes a huge difference to how the car looks, and it makes the FMIC look huge. I haven't decided yet where to move the number plate to, so its still sitting on my dashboard.

I've noticed that I get lots of looks from people checking the car out. I work at a university and a lot of the students are rich-kids and they have highly modified Cefiros since Skylines are very hard to find over here.... for me to have a car like this is instant street-cred with the students :)

    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
    • I did end up getting it sorted, as GTSBoy said, there was a corroded connection and wire that needed to be replaced. I ended up taking out the light assembly, giving everything a good clean and re-soldered the old joints, and it came out good.
    • Wow, thanks for your help guys 🙏. I really appreciate it. Thanks @Rezz, if i fail finding any new or used, full or partial set of original Stage carpets i will come back to you for sure 😉 Explenation is right there, i just missed it 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for pointing out. @soviet_merlin in the meantime, I received a reply from nengun, and i quote: "Thanks for your message and interest in Nengun. KG4900 is for the full set of floor mats, while KG4911 is only the Driver's Floor Mat. FR, RH means Front Right Hand Side. All the Full Set options are now discontinued. However, the Driver's Floor Mat options are still available according to the latest information available to us. We do not know what the differences would be, but if you only want the one mat, we can certainly see what we can find out for you". Interesting. It seems they still have some "new old stock" that Duncan mentioned 🤔. I wonder if they can provide any photos......And i also just realized that amayama have G4900 sets. I'm tempted too.
