This is a really clean example of a Aus-delivered 1997 S14a Sports. The car is manual and turbo charged. It is located in the eastern side of Melbourne (Kew East, Melway P45), approx 15mins from city.

It has been well looked after and in excellent condition. The engine never gets boosted and still runs the standard turbo. It doesn't get raced or thrashed. It comes with road worthy and 12 month registration, basically drive away. Never receives attention from the police and is driven sensibly.

The engine is reliable and responsive with only 112,000km. It starts without hesitation. Like the engine, the manual gearbox is also smooth and gear selection simple. Steering is light and tires have lots of life left.

The exterior is in especially good condition. The car was originally red but has been professionally re-sprayed in championship white. The detail of the job means it is impossible to tell the car has been re-prayed during normal day driving (only the engine bay has been left red). The color is sharp and clean.

The body kit comes from ings+1 (famous Japanese brand) and features a vertex style front bar with its quality and craftsmanship proven through its rigidity and strength.

Interior is clean and fabric is still soft and fresh. Previous owner didn't smoke. No rips or burn marks present.

Overall it's a pleasure to drive.

Main Modifications include:

Genuine HKS intercooler

Turbo back 3" Mandrel bent exhaust

Genuine Ings+1 body kit w/t vertex style front bumper (http://www.ings-net.com/top.html)

17" Advanti wheels

K&N air filter

Interior leather detailing and sports steering wheel

Inspection is welcome for genuine buyers only. Email me at [email protected] or PM is fine. Not interested in swaps.

Regards Patrick

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
