running a 044 intank in my wifes r33 gtst.

using the original wiring to switch a new relay to power the pump.

now i have removed the original blue relay in the boot and found across the coil of the relay im getting 0.6 volts for approx 3 seconds and then it turns off.

is this supposed to be 12 volts?

any other ideas on what could be the problem?

PFC?

Are you wiring it directly off the battery with the trigger on ignition?

not sure what you mean?

the trigger for my new relay to feed the pump, is the original power feed to the stock pump.

i cut it just above the plug going into the tank and then used that as the switching wire for the new relay.

but the problem is back before the stock relay.

ive discovered the problem.

the negitive switching feed from No.18 on the ecu plug is working fine, and is switching ok at the stock relay.

however the positive feed that excites the coil in the relay is dead.

i have since found the engine control 10 amp fuse near the steering coloum is blown, and blows as soon as i turn the ignition on.

so i obviously have a dead short somewhere.

i have ran a second 12 volt feed from the battery to the relay, and the car starts and runs normally.

as yet i havent found anything else that isnt working.

does anyone have any idea on what else runs of the engine control fuse?
