Hey fellas,

I bought this portable Tig welder new like a month ago. I used it ounce or twice for a small arc

welding job. It still has warranty and I will provide receipts for it. This is not an el-cheapo

from E-bay. Its a quality welder and welds quite well. It has a high-duty cycle and will take up to 4mm rods.

In other words, you can weld up to 10-15mm thick steel!!!

It comes with a arc handle and earth cable. Tig torch and leads can be supplied for an extra fee of $60

It weighs only 4.5kg as apposed to the old tranformer style

technology that has many moving parts and weighs 5 times heavier!

I am selling this as I need the money for an Oxy-acetylene set-up for my trade.

The price is $450 posted anywhere in AUS!

I purchased it from a store in the CBD in Melbourne.

This inverter welder has 65% duty cycle at 160amps;

and 100% duty at 130amps.

Thats plenty of grunt for trade or home use!

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
