brass button one tonne pressure plate clutches

i want to know how do you drive a brass button because people i know have told me that if i drive theirs i would stall it on my 1st time

you have to give it some revs, then let it out. The clutch is an on or off type - not one you can really ride on (like around shopping centres). I know coz I got one in my car. Takes a few weeks to get used to.
