The Pod Filter Dilemma

Recommended Posts

To those out there who have previously got in trouble for having a 'pod' style filter.

As some of us undertake various modifications on our vehicles, one thing leads to another. For example, when adding an aftermarket front mount intercooler or doing an engine conversion, the standard airbox is the first thing to go in exchange for a pod filter.

Now, this leaves one with the dilemma of potentially getting in trouble for the modification.

Is there any way of still keeping your aftermarket intercooler and resulting larger plumbing with an air filter/box that will satisfy the long arm of the law.

Has anyone out there got a solution/suggestion?
