Hi,

I'm in the stage of choosing a wastegate for my ride, and I would appreciate your feedback about this product:

tnt-10733_w.jpg

Turbonetics NewGen wastegate.

how good is it? how does it sound like on high boost "around 1.7 bar"

would you recommend it over other competitor brands "with the same price range"

information about my car:

GTR BNR32

RB26

Turbonetics GTK 850 "not fitted yet"

my aim is to go 1.7 - 1.8 bar, to achieve around 650 - 700 whp.

there is another wastegate by Turbonetics, which is the Racegate version:

tnt-10307_w.jpg

it's said that it can handle up to 900 hp, but it looks small to me !!

what do you think?

regards,

That's Tutbonetics new gate, that hinges yah?

Looked pretty interesting when i was looking around 4 months ago for a gate for personal use.

Think ill wait for "other" people to test it first....

In terms of flow.. check the valve lift of a typical WG, Turbonetics new design does look promising in that regard.

Thanks mates for passing by and reply.

when it comes to wastegates ive always been a TiAL man

STR8E180, it seems that you have experience with the Tial WG.

what can you tell me about them? i mean, why do you recommend the Tial?

which size would be suitable for my setup?

i've been told that the Tial 44 would be ok with my setup, but i rather gather more information before installation.

and how does the Tial sound on that range of boost?

its more of a personal level thing realli

ive also used turbonetics wastegates on customers cars and my old car and i neva had any problems with them wat so ever

they are a very good wastegate..... the reason why im a TiAL man is because ive been using them lately on alot of customer cars as well as my own

because of the size and design of the wastegate it makes fitting them and finding room for them very eazy... so its realli from a fabrication point of view why i like them

coming in 2nd SYNCHRONIC

just as compact as the TiAL wastegates

HKS, TRUST such and such brands also make very good wastegates that work very well

i like TiAL and SYNCHRONIC because its just a person level

if the Tial operates the same as the netics, or better, i might consider it "due to the price difference". though i need some tech support. i'll contact Tial tech support. and i'll appreciate any suggestion from you guys "especially those who have experince with it".

regards.

    • That's one of the reasons I got that breed, they look weird, the other reasons are they small, they are very vocal, and run around like they are on crack, I didn't want a breed that just sits around, these two are like kids on red cordial  My daughter has one, and it's a laugh riot, constantly doing Parkour around the house, sits on her shoulder, plays catch, and constantly runs around the house taking turns chasing the dog around, her Bermese though, just lays around with constant bitch face, and just looks on in utter disgust at the cat and dog playing together

That said, some days you'll just never beat genetics, but 99% of the time dogs chasing cats is purely lack of socialisation, and then the chasing part can turn into prey drive.
