If the link posted are the same wheels as you're going for/getting, they're gonna look shit (fitment wise). They're only 7" wide with an offset of +42 (higher than standard).

Fail from me. :D

Edit: Sorry for my comment, you didn't ask for opinions. :D:)

Guys, he doesnt say anything about sizes, just what the style he is looking for. I found that photo and put it up there, so they may not be the sizes he is looking for. Look at the wheel style rather than the wheel size and go from there.

From my experience, those brand of wheels won't offer much wider wheels or lower offsets anyway.

Well, I think thats the information he is after. He said he's getting 18's though. Do you know what sizes they do come in? May as well give the guy a hand while we're here!! Btw, dont ask me. I'm shit with the whole offset thing!

They only come in 17 x 7.0 and 18 x 7.5 from what I can see and I highly doubt they come in any other offset.

Edit: They come in 19 x 8.0 as well. No offset was mentioned for any width.

How they'll look when fitted will depend A LOT on what the offsets are.

You're after 18" so they'll be 7.5" wide (not wide at all).

ok my mum rang up few shops to get quotes and she got told that putting the Lenso rs5 on my 33 n/a would be illegal due to the offset????? and if in a collision insurance wouldnt cover me.

its annoying the hell out of me trying to find decent 4four stud black rims...i found some finally and they wont fit properly due to offset :P

anyway we got reccomended to go to Motorsport wheels and tyres or something in dandenong so might have a look there.

That offset/track or wheel modification rule is farkin stupid.

Your wheels can't be 25mm wider/thinner than the widest wheel specified by the manufacturer for that vehicle, you can't increase/decrease the car's total track by 25mm, etc.

If you want to keep your car 100% legal, don't modify your car at all. Any modification will be illegal unless you get some engineers certificate.

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
