CATKICKER
Hey Guys, I purchased this a few years ago, I am looking at purchasing another car so thought I would throw it up to see if there was any interest to add some coin to the kitty. I got it without a motor and it remains without a motor. I purchased it from the Car Doctor (who also sells karts etc) and have not used in in the 4yrs that I have had it. Here are some shitty pics. if you would like more information, please let me know. Specs I do know... TopKart All but motor Seat is suitable for child or skinny bloke. I squeeze in tightly (was a loose fit but am now 75kg (fatty ) - 5ft 8" $500ono Post, PM, SMS or Call - 0400 113 776 Cheers, Todd Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239419-fs-gokart/ Share on other sites
4drftn
do you know what sort of motor you need for it? or where to get one to pop straight in? cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239419-fs-gokart/#findComment-4193993 Share on other sites
CATKICKER
you could contact the car doctor... he would be able to point you in the right direction for a new or used motor. I believe it is a J engine, but I think you could use any go-kart motor really... just depends what you want to do with it... I was actually thinking about putting some big rims on it and using on the grass. J & clubman are pretty cheap new & 2nd hand or you could strap a 5+hp lawn mower engine on it Unless your thinking about racing i wouldn't worry too much about what motor you use if its only going to be for fun. You would probably be better steering away from a proper kart motor if its just going to be a weekend toy. "IF" you really wanted to bite the bullet it would make a great base for shifter kart Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239419-fs-gokart/#findComment-4194765 Share on other sites
4drftn
is it an arrow frame? do you know what model it is (AX8,AX5 etc.). it should have it stamped on the frame near the nose or near the bottom of the plasitic that covers the steering shaft, possibly underneath on the arrow karts. cheers Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/239419-fs-gokart/#findComment-4205022 Share on other sites
