Ive heard in the past cars shipped over from japan where left in 3rd gear to prevent damage from rocking. Was wondering if anyone could enlighten me if this is still happening or had any experiences where their 3rd gear is stripped.

[Looking at importing a EVO 8 when the dollar isn't so crap]
