Hi All,

We've been working our tails off the last few weeks here, and one of the things we have been working on has been getting appointed as an official supplier of Shift-I shift lights - it's now official so we can announce it.

This is the Shift-I shift light installed on a tacho ...

They are made right here in Australia, and are without doubt the best engineered and best thought out shift light system I have ever seen.

Here are 3 animated demos of how the Shift-I works ...

There are 4 models of the Shift-I ...

Shown above are the two versions with green - amber - red shift lights, with the straight version at top and the curved version below.

Shown above are the two versions with blue - red shift lights, with the straight version at top and the curved version below.

You can mount the curved version around your tacho or mount the straight version virtually anywhere.

Here are two photos of a Shift-I unit mounted on one of our demo display stands. It is shown here mounted to a CNC machined perspex mount used for display purposes only - do not use perspex in any steering system on any vehicle ...

They are simple to install too - it only requires three wires to be connected to your car - a positive wire, an earth wire, and a wire to a tacho signal.

We're stoked to be able to sell an Aussie engineered and Australian made product, and since they are made right here in Australia, there is no import duty or currency fluctuations to deal with. Plus shipping on them is great value coz they don't have to be shipped to Australia from overseas.

The absolute icing on the cake though is the price - retail pricing is just AU$176 including GST

We have a link to an online interactive demo of the Shift-I on our site. You can find the link to the interactive demo, full info on the Shift-I and order one for your own car here ...

And yes, I have bought one for my own car :P Like I've said many times on the forum, "If I wouldn't fit a product to my own car, you won't find us trying to sell it to you".

Do you have a model (green-amber-red; flat) suitable for r34 GTR?

Thanks

Michael

Could you please show a pic of the installed unit on the R32?

Would like to see a side on shot to see exactly how it attaches to the column

Cheers

Hi N1GTR,

The Shift-I is very easy to mount on any virtually any vehicle.

large851.jpg

Above is a diagram showing the dimensions in mm of both the curved and straight versions of the Shift-I.

large852.jpg

Some fitments only need a simple bracket to position where desired - above is an example for information purposes only of a simple bracket used to mount a Shift-I, provided by the Shift-I's manufacturer.

You can also download a 1:1 scale cut out out which can be printed and used as a guide to assist in determining fitment.

We don't have a photo of it mounted in the R32, just the video of it in the R32 here ...

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
