are u kidding?? people like that should be strangled when they are a fetus.

Anyone get his plate number, might wanna report it to police and get him to pay for the damage.

nah cops dont wanna know bout it because it was in a car park same with motorplex. i asked every1 that was around when i got there but no1 seen it. looking 4 window but not much luck... just another bill comin outa my pocket lol

That sucks dude, if you got the plates definitely report it!

As for finding new parts (GTR?) i'm not sure where you could get them in Perth but in Sydney we have a couple of 'import car' places full of second hand parts so have a look around or even start a 'want to buy thread' and you may find someone on this forum could help you out ;)

Or try Danny at Japanese Performance Centre - they might have something there.

The car was probably stolen and taken for a joyride - saw a very similar incident last week. They didn't give a toss, because it wasn't their car.

    • Like others have said, drop the power to give your drivetrain a % of reliability until you can up the drivetrain reliability  It isn't rocket science, build power to the weakest link with a % of safety Whilst upping the the reliability of the drive train is costly, there's no point in having the engine make big power if it keeps eating the drivetrain....ask me how I know, I had the tow truck on speed dial for a few years, and I spent huge amounts of money fixing issues and breakages that really would have been cheaper in the long run if I did it right the first time Me, I like a nice sized fudge factor, that keeps me off the tow truck
    • I don't understand what the issue is with, turn the boost down and start saving $$.  As soon as you can afford the supporting mods, turn the boost back up.  If the car is running fine, enjoy it. Turning the boost down isn't going to kill you.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
