Cool thats my old car. Still using my old plates too. Nice to know its still running.
  2. thanks anyways mate, much appreciated. i may try the tyre shop if noone on here can help or even the socket and a hammer ouch!!
  3. wow, would be similar to the manifolds used by twoogle right? great for people who wish to make big power using twins; would say it was kinda a lost cause considering how simple it is to buy a 6bob manifold and that the gt-rs/-10 turbos arent the best in many peoples opinions. this is why im interested in these new range of turbos like the gtx28, precisions billets and perhaps borg warner units in development. for myself, im sticking with the stock rb26 manifolds but in the future when I do a rebuild, i would want these options cheers mate
  4. Na not that one mate, i found these on google; kinda looks like this. ill take a pic tomorrow in the sun so there is a better view of my own nuts lolz
  5. Looking at the 4828 400hp unit, not sure if it would fit and im sure it would require alot of work but there are always some crazy builds where someone wants to do something different. Just looking at the gtx2860 thread and the r34 gtr build; having to buy a set of -5 turbs to modify and welding the snout and outlet. Hopefully there will be some bolt-on options for these turbines if there is enough demand. These precision units are sooooo tempting for me; the 6262 was on my mind but i settled on the -9s because of the stock look. Im very impressed with the powertune r34 gtr and the drag s13 silvia from motive dvd....amazing!!!
  6. Hi mate, thankyou so much, your help would be much appreciated and i would happily compensate you for your time and postage if you had the right one. Ill take a pic soon and send you a pm. just to describe it, its a simple round one with vertical threads. cheers mate -Johnny
  7. 3. Hi mate, Ive seen a trust front pipe made of steel. Called trust mx i think. all the best
  8. I was looking on the precision site and was wondering if anyone has managed to install 2 lowmount billet turbos into a gtr? Would be an interesting step from the good ol' garrett -7, 9 and 5s. The gtx versions look great too as low mounts but precisions great results seen so far would be very interesting to see.
  9. Hi guys, Ive lost the central locking remote for my r34 gtr and wish to program another. I found this guide in the R34 service manual and would like some advice from anyone who has done this before. Wish to know if this is accurate and will not put my car on lockdown hehe. I would appreciate any help and thankyou in advance -Johnny
  10. Hi there guys, as the title says, ive lost the wheel nut key for my r34 gtr and trying to figure out what to do about it. I will obviously like to change them as soon as I can get them off with a new set. Looking at the pattern, Im wondering if someone on the forums has a key I could borrow? Perhaps all r34 gtr wheel nut keys are the same from factory as long as mine werent changed by the previous japanese owner. I will try to get a cast of the key using some medium to post on here to help. I would very much appreciate any advice on what to do perhaps even from people who have had the same problem. Thankyou in advance. -John
  11. Do the ID injectors bolt straight in to the rb26 fuel rail and plug? Im keen on the 1000s to run e85 on my gtr with -9s. I remember down the line in 2002+, large fuel injectors were really only for race cars. Seems quality, control and precision has come a long way.
  12. great looking turbo, arent they. Would do very well on a 30, cant wait to see the results

Spotted a nice silver r34 gtt in my estate Hawkstowe. Was driven by a estate agent; had an SAU sticker
  14. The owner of Japanese tuning house MCR loves to launch his r34 in 2nd gear, seems to be his secret. Although, r32 n 33; not sure as they have different ratios.
  15. Very nice car man. The wheels and carbon bonnet just set it off perfectly. Are you around the Bundoora or college view area? Think I've seen u there before -Johnny
  16. Hey Terry, I'm loving your dedication to the gtr; you truly make everyone on this forum proud to be line owners. I dunno if you have ever seen initial d, but there is a character who is a r34 gtr togue racer who had owned also the 32 and 33. His passion reminds me of yours; well done mate. My 34 is still amazing and gives me thrills every time I take her out. For that I'd like to thank: Body form for providing me with Ztune skirts and pods and Jason from preston panels for providing me with quality work for years CREATD ms for tuning my car to run reliably without a hiccup for around 3 years now And Kudos for misc parts
  17. +1 for jsai, bought skirts and pods which look great, didnt take much for my panel beater to fit it.
  18. To be honest, i stopped paying attention for a long time now as we cant do anything about it and stress will kill you very fast if you let too many things crowd your mind. I do remember the days of my p's where 98oct was under a dollar; then again, I was driving alot more (cruises, picking up chicks etc) Today, I barely do 30kms in my gtr a week so it aint too bad and i use a getz as my run around which is nice.
  19. hey man, congrats on the new car. I owned a black s2 gts-4 automatic many years ago and there isnt much you can do for power. I had an exhaust, cold air intake and unichip ecu dyno tune and i got 78 awkw. Best mods is to keep the stock airbox and put a knn panel in there, an exhaust and thats about it for cost vs gains. Although the unichip gained 10-15kw in the midrange its no powerhouse but handles well; I had some koni shocks and whiteline sways and it handled like it was on rails
  20. Im a big fan of the xr5t as the car was tested on the dyno @ redline for like 2 weeks continuous. Amazing stuff from the volvo engine. I bought a brand new e46 bmw 325i, serviced it religiously and drove it like a grandma, it still blew coilpacks, gearbox after 30k @ $7000 to replace and the BMW service price is about $450 for an oil change. The head developed a terrible rattle on cold-start too after one month of ownership. The dealership said that nothing was wrong and refused to fix it because it went away after the car was warm. My mums disco3 has nothing but problems too; bad electrics, suspension and just last week needed a new air compressor. Just my experience with euro cars - Buy japanese or korean
  21. I'd probably try Nissan. A small plastic part like that can't cost too much.
  22. In chinese accent "They are overpriced if you a cheap ba$tard"
  23. Just wondering if this idea would spur ur interest: I met a guy once who wanted an r32 gtr but he was concerned about the age of components so what he did was buy an rb26 from an r33 gtr and freshened it up. he bought his gtr a few months later (nice clean one too) and swapped in the fresh engine and sold the stocker. IT worked out well for him cos he had his dream car with a new motor and box *Yes i made this story up but the idea sounds good dosent it? that way you can have the major components and save money, then make some back when you sell the stocker all the best mate and remember, stick to your dreams and dont back down cos you will be dissappointed if you settle

Even though, only gonna run 1bar max as its enough power - trust me. PM me if you wanna chat about gtr's
