Hks Ssbov

The ssqv does make the cho cho cho noise. The turbine (air chopping) does do this aswell, but it isnt this that is making the noise in this case, the bov can be setup to make that cho cho cho noise. That is how mine is setup at the moment. The adjustment screw is for adjusting the movement of the shaft, which is attached to the main seal on the bov. Tighten the spring( but not fully tight), and fine tunning is needed and only the little seal(the one with "hks sequential bov" written on it) moves. This gives you the cho cho cho noise. If you run with out the inside adapter thingy, it makes a totally different noise all together! it is a wiered noise, lets say.. throwing the air forward, and pulling it back again.. Very weired and cool. The sequential bov, hks mk2 is adjustable. Similar setup as the hks mk3, the screw tightens the main shaft, but still allows the inner valve to move freely. The mk2 is a quiet bov, but it does have a note. It is more like a fffaaarrccchhoooooooooooooo... is an awesome note.. if the tension is setup right, the ending sounds like a very long low pitched whistle note, like a human whistle note. goodstuff.
