Morning mang

Im guessing here, but i reckon the 88/88/80 is the amount of dish, and the 51/39/31 probably has something to do with how much brake clearance you get...

EDIT: Or possibly the other way round...

Cool thanx :)

It's still 5.7L's of pushrod shit.... If you'd want a v config motor that's kinda unique go the vq30det. 210kw's and 386 Nm @3600 rpm from factory :)

Such hate for the LS1s I never understand. Old donkey tech but it works well and it's pretty well packaged for what you get.

Can someone please look at this picture and tell me what the highlighted areas represent?

the A B C numbers refer to the disc type of the wheel which is related to brake clearance and the 88 88 80 refers to the amount of dish.

No tractors, no emos, no SAUQLD peeps, no boats and no gabnrs :(

Just a croat and some etcs. f*cking weak effort guys :D

Right the first way round.

I'll never understand how someone can rate an old oil burning, pushrod piece of shit that feels like it has turbo lag despite being a v8 (seriously drive an early model VT one) yet bag an SR

I bag SRs cause I know you guys like em ldo. Driven later modeled ones and they didn't feel laggy to me. I haven't driven many other v8s other than dads xr8 and a couple of dirty commodores but they didn't feel that much different. Dad's is a quad cam 32 valve v8 and it's a bit weird. It never feels like it's really going until you're up around 3500-4000rpm which I think is weird for an 8 but it still pulls hard.

I think the positives outweigh the negatives for the LS1 it's a pity they've never put it in a decent car. Opinions differ on this point obviously but meh.

I only bag the SRs coz I secretly like them :)

IF (and I stress the IF) I was going to put a 4 banger into something, it would either be an SR or FJ.

stoopid poms... :D

It's always about engine size with you boys :(

Boys and their donks...

If i was going to V8 anything and i couldnt afford a BMW S62 from a M5 i would have to use a 1UZFE, 6 bolt mains FTW

+1. VH45s are also nice if you want to keep it nissan

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
