Hey guys,

I had a minor stuff-up tonight and broke my LHS mirror. It looks pretty screwed so I will have to replace the whole thing:

I was just curious if I could get some advice on replacing one of these bad boys? I don't want to break anything unnecessarily so I thought I'd do the smart thing and ask here first. I'm obviously looking to replace this as soon as possible as it looks retarded with a broken mirror, so your advice is appreciated.

Thank you!

They are quite easy to replace. There's 3 bolts behind the sail panel inside your door. From memory i think the door trim has to come off to take this off. Take your time and you can't go wrong.

Cool, thank you. How do I remove the door trim? I'm still all a bit new to this... Thanks :P

So I got to the screws that hold in the mirror, but one turn of the [right sized] screwdriver threaded one of them quite badly. I had a go at the other, but it would not budge, so I stopped trying in case it threads it to death too..

Any advice on what I should do next? Should I use a hammer gently to loosen it up?
