Dedicated Skyline Gallery Wip - Need Your Help!

Recommended Posts

Hey all - I'm on a mission to create one of the best high quality skyline image galleries out there, there's so many great pictures spanning throughout the Web - my goal is to bring them all together!!! :D)

I really do need help from you guys to make it all worthwhile - I've uploaded a few pics of my R33 GTR and more to come shortly.

I've categorized everything in sections on the website to make it much more user friendly to find the images you need (ie Nissan - r32/r33/r34/ etc etc..)

I've created an account for forums members to login with so they can upload their own pics :P - Feel free to create your own account if you want..

Here's the instructions - Please contribute if you have the time, it'd be much appreciated in the long run.

1) Jump over to my website HERE

2) Logon using the following credentials:

username: skylines

password: skylines

3) Once logged in - click the GREEN "Upload Pictures" arrow to the right of the screen

4) Give the pic(s) a title - doesn't really matter - IMPORTANT: Please upload pictures into relevant category: IE R32 GTR, or R33 GTR...i can clean it up later if you mistakenly place the file in another directory though :D

....Any advise or pointers on how to improve your experience on the site is Welcome - Hope to see some pics coming through

The gallery has friendly URL LINKS enabled for everyone aswell to link it back to your forum posts!

Cheers ;)

I am taking the Website Offline for some restructuring as per forum member reccomendations...

I Would like to know what others would like to see in a dedicated Skyline Gallery?

How does the following sound for one category?

Nissan

------Skyline

-------------R32

----------------GTR

----------------GTS/GTST

--------------------------2 Door

--------------------------4 Door

----------------Race Cars (Mines/HKS Drag etc etc..)

----------------Show Cars

This would allow viewers to browse just the specific gallery they are after, and search for exactly what they would like, a bit better than just R32/R33/R34....

Any other advice would be much appreciated - I have already got alot of interest about this gallery which has made me want to create and build it up even more :D

    • It's funny, as Ive seen plenty of people use them in cheap builds on YT. And they actually go okay, even though a lot of other maxspeedingrods stuff is terrible. Those turbos seem reliable enough, the only part being, a good quality turbo that is "identical" to it, will out perform it day in and day out. In both a lower boost threshold, and the ability to flow more air at the same boost pressure. As a cheap cheap replacement, not a terrible choice. For cheap and shouldn't blow in a day, not terrible (like other eBay/Temu turbos) for low cost and still decent performance, that's where the question comes in to play from the results I've seen. I'd actually find it hilarious to buy one, and strap it to a paddock basher or some other cheap as POS originally NA car, and send it to the moon!
    • The maxpeedingrods turbo is cheap and bolts on to stock parts. I think you just need a bigger silicone coupler for the intake. Its a cheap china turbo, but it's been running on mine for almost 3 years at 16-19 psi.
    • What do they look like right after you've tried to start it with everything connected? Also post photos of what they actually look like.
    • Also wanted to say, my new spark plugs are blackened looks like it's very rich. I have splitfire coilpacks but stock coilpack loom and ignitor. I tried directly grounding the ignitor ground to body as well.
