18x7 +45 all round. fair good aye?

got em on,

heres the details:

work vs xx

18x10 front +13

18x12 rear unknown offset (there was no stickers on em and i couldn't be arsed measuring for now, just wanted em on)

20mm rear flare will just cover the tread on the stretched tyre but rim will still stick out, front will be fine with a 15mm flare.

and nisskid, take a look at jms old r33 skid car, that had flared gtr guards on it...

in fact i have a pic of it uploaded here:

not many things make a 33 look good as its a very bubbly and weird shape to begin with, but those flares on gtr guards are hawwwt.

wait, so u have rear GTR guards, on a GTS-t?

and im going off the ad on ebay, that says they are 18x12 -4, but ur saying the offset is unknown.

im confused lol, im not following that well.

also flares may create a nice veranda that covers the tread, but wont give u as much clearance for the tyre going up into the guard. each to their own. not a fan of the mexican look, would rather see a more flush look.

nah theyre not those wheels off ebay man... different set but same specs pretty much.

i have no guards on, just standard ol dirty r33 body. And yeah i get what youre saying about the tyre going up in to the guards, as it is now it scrapes a little bit but well see man.

Ill get em flared and get some camber on it see how that fits/drives, if its not what im after then ill get some new guards for it. I just dont like fiberglass as its like a cheap way out and you can never get the finish perfect, not to mention all fiberglass flares/kits for an r33 are dog ugly

yeh i dont mind flares on unpumped bodies, hell im running them atm haha, but i dont like flares on pumped guards (GTR's). it's like the guards already pops out from the body, to add a flare doesnt look right imo.

    • Maybe of interest, a little while ago I spoke to one of the guys from Rajab Racing Developments and he hinted to me they could be developing a new cast exhaust manifold. Incidentally, they have already made one for the barra and it looks functional
    • So Bathurst coming up so really need to get this new ECU in. I regret going to flex fuel and all the headaches associated with DBW with cruise etc....a miss the simplicity of Power Fc   I make enough power that I should have just gone back to 98 but...anyway Turns out with the std inlet I cant really go any bigger than 60mm DBW so wasnt able to play with that aspect of the update.
