Hey boys/ and girs

I know this topic has been addressed a thousand times, but im wondering has it been dont with metal front guards? if you could take the time to read this and help me out I would gratefully appreciate it:)

I'm planning a R34 front end conversion on my R33 GTR body, because of the fact that i have 4 months of no uni starting from November so i might aswell do something interesting. I have found R34 genuine GTR front guards, and bonnet, would someone be able to tel me, if I buy the R34 GTR guards can I bolt them in with some modification work?

Will I have to cut my R33 GTR guards and mash the 2 together?

The reason I ask is because the genuine GTR guards as you know are made from aluminum and if i do cut and mash them together, I’ll have to give them to a welder. Instead of welding them myself.

If that is the case I have also found R33 standard metal guards, and R34 standard metal guards, so i could employ the same idea but save on someone welding them for me, and weld them myself.

If I got the standard guards, or the GTR guards they will cost the same, so there isn’t any win or lose on money.

If you could please help me or point me in the right direction I would be most appreciative.
