1995 White R33 GTST Series 1.5

Mileage: 117XXX kms

Location: Sydney

Contact: 0433 712 092

Asking Price: $14500 O.N.O

Mods:

- Greddy FMIC (uses factory piping)

- HKS 2540 turbo (240rwkw at 1.2Bar. However I drive at 0.8 bar all the time)

- Bosch Fuel Pump

- Malpasi Fuel Regulator

- Hi Flowed Factor Injectors (That's what the previous owner told me)

- Cooling Pro Alloy Radiator

- 9 Puk heavy duty clutch

- Apexi AVCR Electronic Boost Controller

- 3" RSR Exhaust from the Front Pipe

- Garage Saurus Chipped ECU from Japan (http://www.g-saurus.jp/01contents/01contents.html)

- 17" Work Meister S1 2 Piece Rims (white)

- Almost new 245/40/17 KU31 tyres all round. Used less than 1000kms

- R33 GTR rear Sway Bar (27mm)

- Oil Catch Can

- Front Strut Brace (unknown brand)

This car was a little rough when I got it from the previous owner. Changed all fluids when I got it. (brake / power steering / clutch / engine oil / spark plugs)

- Had a little rust in the radiator (So I flushed it and changed to an alloy one. Changed a couple of the radiator hoses as well)

- Rear Bar had some pretty bad key marks ( Bought a 2nd hand one which was in much better condition)

- A bit of oil was leaking from the rocker cover gaskets so I replaced them as well.

- Key / Lock Assembly on the Boot was broken. Replaced with a new one.

- Interior plastics were a little faded / scratched. Replaced with Series 2 Dash Facia.

On the whole this car is mechanically A1. Usual service performed every 5000kms. Only reason I'm selling is cause I'm after something else now.

Now for the pics!

    • Oh, also, forgot to add these photos I believe.
    • Thought i'd update on this. I was able to get in contact with Craig Lieberman and later on Darryl Alison (owner of Kaizo Industries). Darryl was able to help me verify that my car was in fact one of theirs and is helping me find more info on mine !
    • There's restrictor pills in the stock boost control hoses. That's how they set the amount that was bled off and hence the "high" boost setting. The usual mod in the day was to remove it and send the "high" boost setting up to about 14 psi.
    • Thanks Duncan, that's the best info I've read. Furthermore after learning about the PCM programming side controlling the factory boost solenoid, the purpose of the solenoid is to "bleed" boost when pin 25 is earthed, thus allowing spring pressure in the wastegate actuator to overcome diaphragm boost pressure, thus closing or reducing the position of the wastegate flap creating more boost as the turbo is able to spin faster. It's pretty cool to see a designated Pill to do exactly this, would have liked to have seen it with a tiny filter over the end for those moments in vacuum.  The constant bleed pill has now been removed completely from the system and solenoid boost control has been restored once again.   Case closed 😂
    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
