Hi Everyone,

Got my eyes glued to a nice blue Stagea RS Four on a 2000.

It's done 65,000k's and I took it for a test drive today. I would be grateful if someone could help a complete noobie with a few questions?...

Ok was wrong is as follows.

I tried to fold in the door mirrors and the drivers mirror didn't fold in. Is that a case of replace or can it be fixed?

The radio tunes from 77 up to about 94 I think and nothing more. I seem to remember that the FM frequency is lower is Japan than UK/AUS. How do you get around that?

It was pulling to the right a little when driving it, which mean the steering wheel was at 8 and 2 instead of 9 and 3 (so to speak).

The plastic runners under the actual roof rails looked as if it had been sitting under a tree for a long time and was badly spotted. Has anyone had this problem?...Is it a polish out thing (like back to black stuff) or expensive to replace?

Those things aside...the rest of the car was spotless. Engine bay was immaculate and the oil was beautifully clear.

I think it was a Series 2 (headlights were in the Grill...right?) but not sure which model it was.

I've read the buyers guide and can't make a decision. It has the double-din audio with TV(??!?!), extra power socket in the boot with cargo net and pull over shade. No sunroofs though.

Dealer was asking for 15k for it...is that about right price guys?...

Appreciate any guidance...really want it but a few niggles there.

get a band expander for the radio . it wont change the numbers but it will move the whole range up . the mirror isnot a common problem so youll have to go for a dig . anything is fixable if you dig deep enough. pulling to the right is odd . sounds like a bothced attempt at a wheel alignment to get it to go straight . buy some adjustable castgor bushes and get a wheel alignment . stageas have no camber form the factory so they follow the road really bad(pull left)

dont know about the roof rails . i think mine look the same but i dont pay much attenetion to them

put up some pictures . there arnt many blue ones around .
