Hi all,

With the recent sale of my V35 sans Rays wheels, i now have my set of Rays Gramlights for sale.

They will fit a V35 Coupe perfectly and imho look best on the pearl white (like i had) due to their dark bronze colour.

The specs are

Front: 18", 8.5 width, +22 offset

Rear: 18", 9.5 width, +22 offset

Perfect width and offset before you need to roll guards etc.

They come with exxy Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires (high end UHP stuff).

Front: 245/40 or 45/18, a good few mm off markers

Rear: 275/45/18, a mm or so off markers

And a set of Rays Centre Caps, not installed but easy (just push on lol).

In very good condition. Front passenger has a little finish missing on lip from when tires were put on presumably (no actual metal damage/rash).

Rear passenger has slight rash..forgot about my camber sticking out when pulling out of garage woops!

Price $1600 FIRM. Pickup Sydney St.George area. If you want to buy from interstate that's fine but please organise the courier as i won't have time sorry.

More pics of wheels on car in my V35 sale thread here

Disclaimer: The buyer is coming on saturday to pay owing on car and pickup. If this somehow falls through then i will update thread/let potential buyers know i cannot sell wheels until further notice if so.

The V has gone to a good home.

Wheels are definitely for sale.

I should mention the wheels are a bit lighter than the factory 18"s yet are larger (18x8 vs 8.5 and 9.5!)

Hey Mark,

I started the price at $32990. Only got scammer interest on CS. Then dropped to $29,999, not much luck there. Then $29,990 and got some interest. Finally dropped to $27,990 where i got alot of interest. I believe the particular combo of factory options and mods on my car helped.

I've seen V's on CS around 30k mark and they take a looonnggg time before they move. Anything over 30k for an 03-04 and it just sits on CS pretty much. Lowest i saw when contemplating and during selling mine was $23k for 03 manual pov pack bog standard in somewhere far-ish away from sydney but was negotiable.

There was one for $23k in syd that sold quite quick soon as it was dropped to $23k.

I got the buyer at the $27990 price point but because they were really nice and didn't want the Rays wheels, i happily sold it for $25,500 (only 1 month rego left but didn't matter as it was interstate) with the factory 18's and down to the marker tires. I think i could've got a better price but i'm of the get it over and done with type of guy so preferred an easy, fast and happy transaction.

GL with it mate.

Want these gone - don't fit new toy car and taking up garage space.

$1450!!! For rays engineering wheels in good size/offset and good tires with the centre caps!

I should mention they clear btembos too.

Thanks for the compliments guys :thanks:

Everyone's poor ?!? What's going on! Fair enough i had to sell my V because i'm having a child but i went straight out and bought another toy skyline lol

Someone buy 'em this week pickup only and i'll take $1400 cash - it's really annoying me they can't fit an r33 lol. (st.george area sydney)

Hey all,

These rims are back up for sale.

The previous buyer is returning them due to a very silly mistake on my behalf. He checked the stickers for the fronts and they were actually +30 offset. Rears however are indeed +22 offset.

So i will have these again this sunday night (20th).

Price $1300

Edit - he hasn't installed them, he was cleaning the wheels and noticed the sticker, cheers.

    • I thought that might be the case, thats what I'll start saving for. Thanks for the info
    • Ps i found the below forum and it seems to be the same scenario Im dealing with. Going to check my ECU coolant temp wire tomorrow    From NICOclub forum: s1 RB25det flooding at start up Thu Apr 11, 2013 7:23 am I am completely lost on this. Car ran perfectly fine when I parked it at the end of the year. I took the engine out and painted the engine bay, and put a fuel cell with an inline walbro 255 instead of the in tank unit I had last year. After reinstalling everything, the engine floods when the fuel pump primes. if i pull the fuel pump fuse it'll start, and as soon as I put the fuse back in it starts running ridiculously rich. I checked the tps voltage, and its fine. Cleaned the maf as it had some dust from sitting on a shelf all winter, fuel pressure is correct while running, but wont fire until there is less than 5psi in the lines. The fuel lines are run correctly. I have found a few threads with the same problem but no actual explanation of what fixed it, the threads just ended. Any help would be appreciated. I found the problem though. There was a break in one of the ecu coolant temp sensor wires. Once it was repaired it fired right up with no problems. I would have never thought a non working coolant temp sensor would have caused such an issue.
    • Hi sorry late reply I didnt get a chance to take any pics (my mechanics on the other side of the city) but the plugs were fouled from being too rich. I noticed the MAF wasn't genuine, so I replaced it with a genuine green label unit. I also swapped in a different ignitor, but the issue remains. I've narrowed it down a bit now: - If I unplug and reconnect the fuel lines and install fresh spark plugs, the car starts right up and runs perfectly. Took it around the block with no issues - As soon as I shut it off and try to restart, it won't start again - Fuel pressure while cranking is steady around 40 psi, injectors have good spray, return line is clear, and the FPR vacuum is working. It just seems like it's getting flooded after the first start I unplugged coolant sensors to see if its related to ECU flooding but that didnt make a difference. Im thinking its related to this because this issue only started happening after fixing coolant leaks and replacing the bottom part of the stock manifolds coolant pipe. My mechanic took off the inlet to get to get to do these repairs. My mechanics actually just an old mate who's retired now so ill be taking it to a different mechanic who i know has exp with RBs to see if they find anything. If you have any ideas please send em lll give it a try. Ive tried other things like swapping the injectors, fuel rail, different fuel pressure regs, different ignitor, spark plugs, comp test and MAF but the same issue persists.
