ok heres another question, if the stock boost is sposed to be 7psi,then if i put a exaust on it,will it creep higher without me doin anything, reason i ask is i wanna up the boost a little,to around 11-12psi,for high boost but when i drive around normally it sometimes reaches 10psi then drops back down to around 7psi, will setting the boost at 12psi be any difference? and is it really safe?

ive got 3" exaust,stock cooler,and pod filter and i always run it on optimax

With the boost bleed std boost was 12psi but for some reason with the EBC it is 10.6psi.?!?!?!

I'm guessing it was the restrictor type setup that was put in the bleed that I wasn't aware of.

Well according to the hand controller it is 10.6psi.

Could it be wrong?

The +7 line on the guage in the dash is supposed to be 13.5psi. when I set the ebc to 15psi the needle just starts to nudge over it.

are you serious the +7 is supposed to be 13.5psi?!?!?!

cos ive got a bleeder set to 13psi and its always maxing out the std guage but reading 0.9bar on the HKS one.....

however one thing ive learnt is not to rely on std guages so ill stick to reading the mechanical one i think...

And who said eeekkk.. Import cars are expensive to repair buy a ford/holden.

Funny thing is even if they were more expensive to repair I had a diff die in the VS V8 Manual at 90,000kms, a gearbox around the same time and the rear IRS chassis cracked where the diff is bolted on and the arse end dropped to the ground with the bumper touching the cement. :confused:

ok so thats $1200 for the g/box (which was still rattled after rebuilt), $1000 for the diff, $1700 to repair the chassis.

and that was with only 140rwkw. Imagine trying to put more power through it.

This all happened after about 9 months of owning the car. :burnout:

I've owned the R32 GTS-T now for a year or so and nothing has broke or damaged. :)

When i first got mine, I had no idea cause the standard gauge is really hard to read accuratlly. So i went and bought an Auto meter gauge.

I had 6psi standard. Then i spent al @@#$ load of money and now i can run 17psi. I can also go higher, but my gauge only goes to 20. So i call 17psi enough in dry conditions... LOL

I usually run 8 or 10 psi daily....

Then i pump it up to 15-17psi for dyno/circuit racing...

I was peaking 10psi on the dyno but it wouldn't stay there, it would settle around 8psi when she was dead stock.

It made 115rwkw dead stock on RPMS Dyno. & with the fuel pressure bleed it made 125rwkw but i was running BP Premium (95 RON) and if Tim advanced it any more it would ping :D

With timing & good fuel it should have made 130rwkw.

Exhaust a little bit of timing & fuel tune it made 152rwkw @ 12psi.

Then with 12psi still up top it made 156rwkw with alot more timing (25deg) and no pinging. :)

    • Yep, the closest base tune available was for the GTT, I went with that and made all the logical changes I could find to convert it to Naturally Aspirated. It will rev fine in Neutral to redline but it will be cutting nearly 50% fuel the whole way.  If I let it tune the fuel map to start with that much less fuel it wont run right and has a hard time applying corrections.  These 50% cuts are with a fuel map already about half of what the GTT tune had.  I was having a whole lot of bogging when applying any throttle but seem to have fixed that for no load situations with very aggressive transient throttle settings. I made the corrections to my injectors with data I found for them online, FBCJC100 flowing 306cc.  I'll have to look to see if I can find the Cam section. I have the Bosch 4.9 from Haltech. My manifold pressure when watching it live is always in -5.9 psi/inHg
    • Hi My Tokico BM50 Brake master cylinder has a leak from the hole between the two outlets (M10x1) for brake pipes, I have attached a photo. Can anyone tell me what that hole is and what has failed to allow brake fluid to escape from it, I have looked on line and asked questions on UK forums but can not find the answer, if anyone can enlighten me I would be most grateful.
    • It will be a software setting. I don't believe many on here ever used AEM. And they're now a discontinued product,that's really hard to find any easy answers on. If it were Link or Haltech, someone would be able to just send you a ECU file though.
    • Yes sir am asking is there possible way from aem tuner from wiring pins 
    • Have you checked cam to crank timing and confirmed balancer marks are correct?
