I fully agree as before..

The general shape is based on an excel. But there is no excel left on it, except the roof. Everything else is sctatch built, even suspension arms are off a v8 supercar, RWD etc. there is nothing excel about it.

Id be seriously doubtful the doors will be left standard. If your going to that extent and changing quater glass to plexon, your looking for every kilo, and there are alot of them in doors.

haha, there is one with a VN engine and RWD conversion but i guess thats not as epic

that one's turbo too. despite the massive amount of quality work put into the sr20, i still like the VN powered one better. got more of a backyard feel i can relate too

Also, don't under rate the N/A sr20, going to run that for now and either re engine it down the track or build a complete new car with a larger engine. Just had a look at the lap times of the r35gtr is running in the GT series, we should be doing very similar times with a N/A 2 litre...

850kg wet (driver fuel the whole lot) and 260 odd hp.

    • I have been wondering if this is as simple as a voltage issue with the battery. Even on a charger, I can’t seem to get it over 11.8V on the terminals.    Unless the alternator has failed as well, that wouldn’t cause it to die in the middle of driving though.
    • I’ll give this a shot next time I’m able to wrench on it.    I was able to get my hands on a Haltech Nexus, so that should help with some of the more bizarre troubleshooting. Make sure the CAS is actually sending signal and will be able to set the proper dwell on the R35 coils.    I’ve checked power/grounds/signals at the CAS, ignitor, and plugs and it was all there. Granted this was static with ignition on, not cranking.    I also plan on swapping out the fuel filter and throwing on a fuel pressure gauge at the rail just to confirm I’m getting the correct pressure at the rail. 43psi if I recall correctly.
    • The attached document is fine. I just downloaded & opened it.
