Syd - '93 R33 Gts25-T Coupe Manual Black 155,000K's, Looong Rego, Rebuilt Engine, Few Mods + Extras

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm selling my Skyline as I need something a bit more fuel efficient to get me to and from uni every day. It's also a bit small for me and I get a sore back driving any distance.

I'd like to get $8,500. PM me for an inspection/test drive and I'll give you my mobile number.

NO JOY RIDERS PLEASE, SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY.

Good points:

  • Rego until March 2012 !!!
  • Rebuilt engine October last year (have receipt), doesn't blow any smoke or burn any oil. It's fantastic. Perfect oil pressure all the time
  • Alarm system fitted with remote central locking
  • Only ever run 98 octane fuel in it
  • Nice set of black 18" wheels on the car
  • Brand new 245/40/R18 tyres on rear, good condition 235/40/R18's on front
  • If I get close to my asking price I'll throw in an extra set of 18" wheels (last pic)
  • Comes with spare wheel and tyre
  • Series II spoiler and boot (I'll also throw in the original boot and spoiler)
  • Changed oil every 5,000k's with Magnatec
  • Recent wheel alignment
  • Exedy organic clutch
  • HKS Front mount intercooler
  • HKS turbo timer
  • High flow panel filter
  • Full 3" exhaust from turbo back to Supercat cannon, it's pretty loud but I've never been pulled over for it.
  • Near new radiator
  • Nismo strut tower brace
  • I'll throw in a boss kit for an aftermarket steering wheel if I get close to asking price.
  • Sony stereo with detachable face
  • I haven't upped the boost from the stock 7 psi since I've owned the car, previous owner assured me he hadn't either
  • Seats in good condition, tear in drivers seat in usual place
  • Seat covers
  • Very good gear and hand brake boots
  • Rear seats look brand new
  • Stock Skyline floor mats. All great condition apart from drivers which has some wear where my left heel goes

Bad points:

  • Not the best cosmetically (paint has a few swirls, couple of small dings, scratches around the door locks)
  • Clutch is a little bit noisy at ~1800 rpm. Mechanic says it's nothing to worry about but it's a little bit annoying.
  • Steering wheel has some wear on it. I'd think this is normal for a 150,000k car.
  • HICAS light is on (went through pink slip inspection OK, though. I've never noticed any strange behaviour of the rear-end)
  • Rear speakers not connected
  • Front bumper cut for intercooler
  • Air con needs re-gassing

The car has never given me any trouble.

Thanks for looking.

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
