will standard wastgate be used or will an external unit need to be purchased, any other deals on wastegates/dumps ie. like a full bolt on kit.

Hi there,

Standard wastegate should do fine if you are going for T04E hybrids turbochargers. If you are going for 650Hp Super T70 turbocharger - should get external units at least 40Mm wastegate (pictured).

but performance wise i can't see the standard gate holding boost that well. How much boost do you think these to4's can push?

I'm sorry, if you are running the gear at 8-10 Psi, standard wastegate should be fine. Are you referring to T04E or T04B. They are both relatively the same - High Output 550Hp @25 Psi, Drag event MAX 30Psi.

Identical T04B GARRETT turbocharger was used by 1993 Rx7 owner. He ran 11.27 and 121Mph at Eastern Creek (Unsure if i got the figure right).
