R33 Ecu Differences

Ok,

Im about to do a manual conversion on my stagea, and i am about to buy a powerfc for the conversion

Now, i need to know if there are differences from abs and non abs cars. Clearly my car has abs, so i dont want to get a computer that doesnt support it or anything?

I also want to buy a std s2 r33 ecu incase all goes to hell and i need it for EPA etc, so do i need to buy an ABS specific one or just any R33 manual s2 one?

BTW, i will be converting my engine harness to a r33 gtst one so stagea ecu will be useless (different plug)

what I have done is used a r33 s2 wiring loom and plugged it into a s1 stagea motor (equivalent to a s2 rb25) and plugged a standard s2 r33 rb25 ecu..it works til about 3000rpm, I put my foot down and it misfires and chokes like a b**** ..

I don't know if its the actual engine or just the ecu. (i want to run a factory ecu unit)
