I'd get the insurance people to chase her down

Saves your time, your money - and that’s what their there for- that’s what you have paid them for!

You were a good person and gave her a chance...

She obviously took it, spat on it, screwed it up and thrown back at your face.

Cry 'Havoc!' and let slip the dogs of insurance,

They know the laws and can make her life hell:

Bad credit rating,

Repossession of personal property

Loan sharks knocking at her/family door at all hours

You’ll feel that warm and fuzzy feeling that someone is getting their priorities forcibly rearranged from them, due to their cowardliness and there is some righteous returning to this world!

The sooner the better- you may have already done your self a disservice!

The more time that passes- more time she has to change her details- making it harder for her to be found.

My two cents

PS: when people do this it pisses me off!

Forget the idea you had about the 3000 cover! just go to the insurance company with the claim. Dont say anything about the chick not having insurance. Give them her details. They will fix your car and go after her for the money!

Thats if i had Full insurance

If you can't afford comp insurance- you can't afford the car!!!

Sorry but that’s how I see it!

Good luck any way

Stevie- when you finshed with the chick, give SkyGTRline a few slaps for not having full insurance!

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
