Iv got a s2 r33 and about a month ago after driving it in the morning by the afternoon the car sounded like wrx, so horrible miss to dropping a cyclinder. I changed the coil packs to yellow jackets, new spark plugs, new coilpack loom and a new oxy sensor. Car ran sweet for about 3 weeks better then ever, more power ect. All of a sudden driving her today started her up after driving from one place to another and it started a lil strange like it did the first time it happened. Turn key and its startes with a bit of a bang like too much fuel, so a high rmp start somehow and then back to sounding like a wrx. Only time car sounds normal is on the coats down from reving the car. I am now stumped so need some help

All good found and old topic on this problem and i found a small plastic button on the floor on the drivers side. had a quick look up at the pedal and nothing there to depress the switch. problem solved

Iv got a 98 model r33 gtst and suddenly this afternoon i noticed my brake lights came on and stayed on even when the car is completly off. Only way to get them to turn off is disconnecting the battery. Please Help

Hey if anyone could help, posted yesterday asking if anyone had a crank angle sensor for sale for an r33 gtst series 2 rb25det cause mine is broken, the thin metal disc inside the unit is split. Also been told r34 rb25det crank angle sensors ate the same nd will fit and work in my car. Part number of mine is 23731 5L300. Much appreciated if anyone could help!

Broke my crank angle sensor when I was doing my timing belt and now I need a new one. Where can I get one from and once I got a new one do I put it in same as the old one or is there a way of setting a new one up?

Im doing my timing belt and iv got a stock r33 gtst and one place in townsville says that the dyco timing belt will do fine and another place says they recommend using the gates timing belt so which one to put in?

hey, on my r33 gtst in the morning when the car is cold or when the car has been sitting in the shade rather then in the sun my bloody cluster does not work correctly. Speedp needle moves to about 40ks and then the bloody thing gets stuck and you have to tap it but once u drive for a while more then 10 15 mins it works fine or if u get it over 100ks it usually works or if the car has been out in the sun it works as advertised lol. Oh nd the rpm side works fine so i just end up driving off that side haha. Can anyone help.

Hey Hey, Im another townsville local with a skyline haha got a black 98 model r33 gtst and got a mate at work with a white 96 model r33 gtr. One thing that suxs about townsville getting advice and where to take your car seeing as most places around here like to deal with v8s rather then imports.
