RAW out of the camera, converted using DPP into 8 bit tiff, then edited in photoshop. I also used noise ninja for the first time. (2nd pic didn't have the noise ninja filter applied) I used the unsharp mask. But it just made it look really bad. So I decreased the unsharp mask a bit, and reposted the pic. Tried a few more things, and reposted, and didn't look any better. Tried something else (another filter) and it made it look an anime cartoon. So I decreased that filter a little and used the burn tool to make the wall in the background look a bit more "dirty anime". Then I softened the edges of the water, softened and lightened, also to increase that drawn on look. I don't know. I still don't like it. But eh, it's all a learning process. The picture you see now on both ap and here is the 4th edit I've done. I have a feeling that the extra softness in the first pic might be due to noise ninja. But then again, all my fricken shots are turning out soft. My mate is going to bring around his kit lens later. I'll take some shots with that and see if it's any different. To be honest I'm sick of the kit lens. I might just go out and buy a 50mm f1.4 prime and use that as a replacement to the kit lens.

Mine does it after it rains too. Especially if the car is parked on grass. I believe it's the throwout bearing squeaking on the shaft thingy inside the bell housing.... Drop the box and grease her up and it should stop squeaking.

20 grand? fark... that's a bit of money. No one I know of has spent that much on a gts-t's engine. I know a few GTR drivers that have. the only one acting tough is gtr glafche.

There were ppl that came on the "newcastle" cruise that caused me and Amanda to go on our own drive. Don't think they're really member's of this forum. The way they were driving on the f3 was absolutely ridiculous. Oooooh I can go fast in a straight line on a public road. Ooooooh, I'm so f**king good. bah.

first photo, was just a little experiment. I hated the background, and the ground. Started mucking with it in post, then got that weird anime sort of look. Left it at that.

just a side note. The solenoid will not work as effectively if it's setup to receive with the long red hose as shown above. It's best to keep all hoses from the solenoid to the wastegate and from the intake to the solenoid as short as possible. It's best to drill an attachment into the pipe that leads from the turbo to the intercooler, or the pipe that leads from the intercooler to the throttle body, and grab the feed from there.

cheers "Post processing" chris. Dark, not much. Building to the left removed, floor darkened, bonnet made black (currently naked grey and pink fibreglass (eww)lol), reflections cleaned up. 30mins in post. Could've spent longer. Tires are off. But eh, they wanted the photos asap.
