My friend has just purchased the above with 80k on . Shift feels to take it,s time . Should it not be a quick sporty type change in one of these? does he need a shift kit or simply the bands or what ever need adjusting .. suggestions please. Thanks

Thanks for your input, this is starting to clarify a little. So if one uses an aftermarket ecu , how does one link the attessa to that , TPS throttle positioning switch ? Not sure about this association?

OK, the engine control unit can be replaced by an aftermarket PFC, Motec, haltec or the likes! So these manage the engine and AC etc. I have no climate control or AC. No hicas either. Keeping attessa. So , will the EMS unit simply look after the engine whilst there must be a sepperate box to control the lighting , indicators and the attessa and dash cluster- tacho etc ?? As you can see i am unclear as to what controlls what . your input is appreciated.

No that's not right, the unit will handle and manage to 28 psi with the 2.8 bar sensors. Correct me if i am wrong. . i have checked with people who install them and sell the product and there comments are as above. The average, in fact most applications these units are tried and proven and work very very well but my application requires more than this . The Japs like rev,s the Yanks like torque- the Yanks have got the Jap motors doing good times. My aproach is the later and have built a hybrid to suit. Hey, i could be wrong but the times will tell?

Hi , who out there has known of or actualy has a short shifter in a Gtr , preferably with a PPG helical or straight cut? What brand actually has definate benifits, ( surely not the ones on E Bay for $100 ?) i have seen the C's and Nismo as well , are ther any others? Does PPG make one ? money is not an option , i simply wanta quality unit that works .

Conducting mods , my r32 gtr power steering pump will not fit , require the above at a sensible price or swap.
