i think issues with an atmo bov causing stalling problems are caused when the bov opens on idle, if the bov is adjusted properly, then u wont have ne probs, my car stalled with the stock bov venting to atmo but then with the hks it was fine

back, had some lunch

putting the airbox back on, was nothing, i had the stock airbox put away, bov well stock one went back on, cat back, i borrowed adrian's stock catback cost me 20 bucks for some silicone gasket paste tho to seal up the piping, just the costly bit is repairing the mainfold studs so the exhaust doesnt leak outta the manifold and the block, well the gap between those 2 dunno how much thats gonna cost either

then take the car to get em all fixed up

yer, i pulled everything off to have a look at the manifold closer see how many studs are missing quite a few is the answer, so now i gotta put all the piping back together

mj you dont happen to be any good at replacing broken manifold studs do you?

adrian's stock zaust quietened it down so much, now all you can hear is exhaust leaking out between the manifold and the block yay

i had to wait for delays when i imported my car, i now have to return my car to stock to pass a defect, i have to pay to have my manifold studs replaced and all the stock gear put back on just to shut a damn exhaust leak up so that they dont go "whats that loud ticking noise"

cant really be bothered eating, just thinkin how annoyingly frustrating owning a skyline is

nexus9 i know you assemble computers at umart, my friend buys em off ya, i used to buy all my wintel pc parts at umart when i was into pc's but in those days, i had to drive to milton to get the parts too mick51 from here used to work for umart too if i remember correctly, in the RA dept

for pads strutto, see the guy at brake distributors labrador, and get yourself a set of rb-74s if your getting slotted rotors, these are the pads to get i got em on my car atm, they only squeal a bit cause the faces get a bit glazed sometimes, slip runs the same pads on his 31, and if uve ever seen that thing stop, ull definatly agree they are good pads

yer mechanical are probably the best in my opinion, tho apparently you can be defected for a mechanical boost guage as you are bringing engine vacume through the firewall which is illegal??? can anyone shed some light on that?

what sorta bov is it? you can only tighten it as far as it goes, ive had mine done up so tight it didnt even open at one stage, dont think u can do too much damage with it
