gordon yep, mine was clean as it was the day it was made it was quite surprising

910 you can use the stock pickup and its not as big shoving the 040 into the spot down the bottom of the tank was hard, specially having to move the clamps around so they didnt interfere with the fit

i should upload my pics from the fuelpump install i did a whole series of pics with the intent to do a tute on getting into the tank and theres some comparison shots between the stockie and the 040

nah shane, the stock pickup reaches into the tank heaps more than the 040 the 040 is built into the pump so the pump has to be mounted further down the pickup i havent run it down too far but i pushed it down to the empty bar and it was still running so i think its not too bad

yer, probably make sure theres no way for the pickup to come loose again, i got my fuel hose from bursons and its great

ah the pickup came off, bummer man i used a 040 so inbuilt pickup but yer using one of those in the tank is no different to the standard pump both have exposed terminals ect if puttin a 910 in a tank is bad, whats nissan doin puttin stock pumps in a tank
