  1. Yes you need to use a Matt Clear if you want it to last. If you dont you will see marks all over the car from people touching it etc. Moisture will be absorbed by the paint causing the paint to flake off and rust the surface. Its like people driving around with cars in primer, when they go to topcoat the topcoat doesnt adhere due to all the moisture the primer has taken in... In Speed magazine there was an R33 GTR in matt black, looked tough as, in that article they also say they were changing the paint to a satin finish as marks appear to easy on the flat. Satin and Matt are different..

  6. Where the bonnet bolts to the hinges undo them, dont take the bolts out just loosen them so the bonnet can move and slide it back xxx far and then tighten and see how it sits then, repeat till it sits in properly. Might need a mate to help.
  7. My HG GTS Monaro will sell for more than I paid for it! When I buy my next import, R34 GTT or JZX100 Chaser I Think Ill keep it for a long time. To much mucking around to sell.
  8. Its hard to sell an R33, my R33 GTS-t in black, manual, took ages to sell. I got 10g for it with a rwc... I only had it for 2 years but I picked it up at a good price $14.5g as it needed a few small things that cost next to nothing to do. So I didnt do to bad but yes it takes a while till the right buyer comes along. Dont change the colour!
  9. Its the rear brakes grabbing the discs. And more than likely moving the diff on its mounts, worn rubbers.

  16. I believe you need to use the R34 ECU... Its different to the R33 ECU. They are different motors. Heaps of differences on them.. Sensors. etc etc. You only got the car less than a month ago and its stuffed already? Thats the question Id like to know.
  17. There is a thread on doing this swap, not sure which member did it but it goes through all the differences you need to make. Yes you need to use the R34 ecu. The wiring loom needs to get changed a bit and if I can remember correctly he took it to a workshop to get the wiring all done/spliced. Personally I think its a worthwhile swap and cheaper than 26, 25/30 etc.
