  3. hey mate, im running the standard BOV so i dont think that this is my prob. Anyone else got any ideas? Thanks, Mike
  4. anyone else got any suggestions?
  5. naa mate im only using 1 standard BOV. The standard BOV doesn't have an adjustment screw does it? I changed the AAC valve last night and it made no difference at all. Thanks, Mike.
  6. hey guys thanks for the replies, i tried the standard computer last night and it still didnt fix it at all. So it must be something that has been tampered with since the conversion. All I can think of is the o2 sensor and the BOV. Ive plumbed in the BOV but i havent checked the o2sensor. Is there any way of checking to see if it is working correctly? I also had to replace the dump pipe so im gonna have a go at stuffing around with the O2 sensor. The O2 sensor seems to be pretty close to the back of the turbo ATM rather than down a little. Could this be a problem? Thanks for all the replies, Mike.
  7. tried plumbing the hot pipe in today and it done nothing. Also tried running the standard ecu and the problem is still there. Anyone else got any ideas? Maybe AAC Valve? Thanks, Mike.
  8. hey guys thanks for your replies, i will plumb in the other hose tomorrow. Where exactly do i put it. Between the hose on the intake side and the wastegate? Thanks, Mike
  9. Ive just put a Power FC on an R33 Gtst along with a bigger turbo. Now since i finished putting the turbo and power fc in, when i rev the car in neutral it will either stall or the revs will start fluxuating. So when im pulling up to a set of light if i slow the car right down then put the clutch in its ok, but if i put it in while the revs are still up it will either stall or the revs will fluxuate. We tuned it on the dyno like this but my tuner said it could be because i didnt have my factory BOV plumbed in. So i plumbed it back up to the intake and it didnt fix the problem at all. The only pipe i havent connected up on the BOV is this little thin one i think its called a 'hot pipe' or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike.
  10. thanks heaps mate, u reckon u could take a photo of where it meets the intake pipe aswell. Thanks heaps, Mike
  11. Hey mate, the actual problem im having is my car keeps stalling. So where exactly does this hot pipe go, i want to try and hook it up and see if it makes a difference. I currently have it blocked. Thanks, Mike.
  12. BUMP!!! I want to try and fix this problem today if i can
  13. Hey mate, i was actually talking about the thick pipe (1"?) that comes off the side and goes into the intake pipe just after the AFM. On this thick pipe there is a little fitting with a skinny hose (about 4mm) coming off it. This is the hose that im talking about. BTW. its a standard BOV. Thanks, Mike
  14. have been searching for the answer but i havent been able to find it. I just wanted to know where the skinny hose goes that comes off the pipe that goes into the intake from the BOV. It looks like some sort of vacuum hose. Sorry for the stupid question but my car is currently stalling when approaching lights etc and this is the only hose of the BOV that isnt connected. Thanks, Mike.
  15. Hey, thanks everyone for their input. I will be using my car for street use, but i intend on taking it down to track days (Circuit, Drift, Drag). So what would be the best all rounder? Should i go for the 1.5 or 2 way? Keeping in mind that i want a comfortable ride with no clunking etc. Thanks, Mike.
  16. Turned out to be a pretty good day. Did anyone get some pics, i forgot my camera at home. Thanks, Mike
  17. BUMP...Anyone else wanna add something to this?

  19. hey guys, well ive been having problems lately with my LSD in my R33 GTST single spinning. Is there any way i can try and help reduce this? (Diff oils?). Also if it means it needs a rebuild, does anyone know any decent places in Vic to do this and how much it would cost. Thanks, Mike.
  20. Hey mate, i urgently need some std r33 rear shocks with no springs. I have a s2 so they will fit yeh? also what condition are these shocks in? any leaks etc? Let me know asap. Thanks, Mike.

  24. hey sydneykid, i was just wondering with the circlip grooving how low can u go from the centre of the wheel to the guard. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks, Mike.
  25. Hey all, i have been having a few problems with the handling on my r33 GTST. It all started, well i noticed it once i changed my wheels on the car. I replaced the standard wheels with some G.MAX wheels that are 18x9.5 on the rear and have 265/35/18 tyres on them and the front has 18x8 with 235/40/18. Now, the tyres are pretty good, they are hankook k104s, they seem to grip good. But what is happening is when i hit a bump on the road, my car seems to hover all over the road. This especially happens to the back end of the car. Also, when taking a corner hard, the back end wont step out smoothly, the car will try and skip around the corner. The handling has got progressively worse since the tyre change so i know its something else besides the tyres. I have been thinking that it may be my shocks or some worn out bushes somewhere. Anyways, hope someone can help. Thanks, Mike.
