TURNED OUT TO BE A GREAT DAY, THANKS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE WHO HELPED ORGANISE IT! I managed a [email protected] and a 60ft of 2.1 with a Front pipe back exhaust (no dump), POD, 12psi, GTR front mount and HANKOOK K104's 265/35/18 tyres. Is this a good time for my mods? or should i be going a bit better. Ive noticed that some people with a worse 60' time than mine got into the 13's. Oh and this might be a stupid question but does the timer start when the lights go green or when u take off? This is in test and tune BTW Any help would be appreciated

Hey, ill be there but i was just wondering what i should do about tyres? Right now ive got Hankook K104s 265/35/18 on it, but i have my standard wheels sitting around and they have some pretty worn out Bridgestone Turanza's 225/55?/16. Do u think if i run my 265s i will wear em out too much and would they actually be good for the day? Thanks, Mike

hey, just wondering if anyone has seen this site and what you think of the price of the Garrett turbos. I cant seem to find their address so i dont know if the prices are even in AUD. If everything is good they seem to be fairly cheap. Thanks

Thanks for all ur input, ended up being the crack in the original boost gauge hose. Might replace the whole hose with some stronger stuff.

last night i found one of the original boost gauge lines has a small crack in the end of it. Could this be making both of my boost gauges read wrong?

Car has exhaust from front pipe back (no dump pipe), intercooler, pod and bleed valve. Yeh the bleed valve was set at 12psi and used to make 12psi, boost gauge is fairly new and the hose i used was pretty thick so i doubt it has holes in it already. What is the cause of a boost controller usually dying? thanks for ur help

Hey, ive recently been having problems with my skyline r33 holding boost. Ive got an unkown brand bleed valve set at 12psi on high and standard boost on low. now the other night for the first time in a while i checked if the boost was actually still hitting 12psi and it would hit around 5 -7 and maybe 8 max on high boost and it would only get around 5psi max on low boost. It was also fluxuating all over the place trying to hold steady boost. Only thing that has been changed in my car recently was coils because i was getting a miss at high revs about a week ago so i replaced all of the coils with a second hand set. I think thats about it, any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advanced.

hey, just wondering what sort of budget would be required to build an engine with the rb26 head and rb30 bottom end making a reliable and responsive power output of around 300rwkw. Also, what would need to be changed to do this? (eg, cams, turbo's, pistons etc) thanks

hey EXAUNV, Sorry mate i wasnt trying to ruin your group buy by my comment, just wanted to state my experience with this gear knob. I think that maybe if u could get the carbon fibre ones they would stay in a lot better condition as the only aluminum bit is on the top of it. As i said, these gear knob are being sold at a GREAT price.

I have had one of these gear knobs for bout a year now and just letting everyone know that after a couple of months the aluminum starts to go really bad. Mine is now very faded and has dots all over it. I can polish it but after a good drive it faded again. Sorry didnt mean to take away from the group buy, just wanted to let u know my experience with this knob. It is a very good looking gear knob and EXAUNV has got them for a really great price as i paid $170 for mine Mike
