  1. Should be alright to ship the tyres to Australia. I dont' think customs will really care what it is for. All they care is GST. I'd be interested in finding out the GST and shipping for these tyres. Wilzlee, let us know the address of the warehouse when you can!! Cheers mate!
  2. V35 is the current model of Nissan Skyline in Japan. The only other country that I am aware of selling that model of car would be the USA, under the badge of Infinity G35. V35 is the chasis designation of the car. It is no longer an "R" series (eg; R32, R33, R34), as the the engine is no longer RB series engine. It is now "V" series skyline, to go with the VQ series engine. Hopefully that answer your question.
  3. Excellent work guys! NJR 34GTT, nice easy to follow step by step guide.
  4. BADHAB|T, Thanks for that info! let me get this straight. Allyou need to remove are: 1. The gear stick surround, and 2. The stereo surround which is attached to together with the heater surround. (Just wedge it out between the heather console and the dash surround). Right?
  5. 666Dan, what do you mean by "My one FLARES a bit more than it did pre-turbo"? How much rwkw does your car put out now with the high compression turbo kit?
  6. There are so many comment against turboing an NA engine. For one is that the internal is not as strong as the factory turbo setup engine. But how weak is the internal, in term of attaching a turbo to it? I've seen a fair few automotive magazine from the States, with Greddy & HKS selling a bolt on Turbo Kit for the 350Z, and Greddy bolt on Turbo kit for those Hondas. Wouldn't it be a fair argument to say that those 350Z and those hondas internal weren't meant for turbo charging, and therefore would not be as strong as.... say an RB25DET or other factory turbo setup engines? Can some one shed a light on to this for me, so that I may understand more about what works and what dont?
  7. Interesting engine..... Compression wise is still the same with the RB26DETT? If it does, I wonder if It drives. It's a nice rare engine. But I don't think it worth the price since now adays you can get a newer engine fron Nissan (even in NA) that has meet the 206kw japanese limit (on paper).
  8. Just wondering how strong are those R34 RB25DE NEO Tiptronic gearbox? Does anyone know wether they are the same with the RB25DET NEO Tiptronic Gearbox?
  9. How do you take the center console of the R34 for a headunit install? I only managed to get the surround off around the gear stick.
  10. Are you saying that it is possible to use the Power FC ECU for RB25DET in the Turbo converted NA car such as yours?
  11. Any thought on the gearbox? Would I have to replace the gearbox from the RB with converting to the VQ?
  12. You mean go with the 300ZX VG30DETT instead?
  13. Just wondering, is it safe to turbo charge an NA by the following way: Replace the bottom end of the RB25DE Neo with the RB25DET, install thicker head gasket to lower the compression, and bolt on the turbo chargers and manifolds from the RB25DET?
  14. Ok. That clears up all these Tuning Lingo. But what does N1 Spec means?
  15. How much does RB30DE puts out? One good reason to go with the VQ30DET is the configuration. Being a V6, it willl distribute the balance toward the firewall better. I don't know about side ways though. It seems there isn't too much space in the ER34 enginebay. The daunting thing is that there aren't much aftermarket supports (i.e. ECU, Cams, etc.) that I can find regarding this engine.
  16. Tomei is selling their DRAG R34GT-R http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogu..._drag_sale.html
  17. Just want to know what's everyone opinion on engine swap from RB25DE Neo to VQ30DET Neo? Do you think that will fit (since this is the engine that they are running on JGTC Skylines - except for the fact that it is VQ30DETT)? VQ30DET Neo is in use on Nissan Gloria, and Cima. SPEC: VQ30DET NEO ・Power:206kW (280PS)/6000rpm ・Torque:387N・m (39.5kgm)/3600rpm Of course the 206kw power figure might not be true, since it's Japanese limitation.
  18. Those are custom bodykit. The wheel arches just won't suit the street cars, as their suspension layout are different.
  19. Yeah, of all the R34 I've seen that thing don't exist. I wonder if it's wise to remove them..... coz it's kinda pointless to have that on, since the car is already over the 5000km.
  20. That looks like the R34 25GT Series II isn't it? What is the difference betwen the 25GT and the GT-V?
  21. Would those part listed be the same for the RB25DE NEO?
  22. I need help guys!! I've just purchased an ER34 RB25DE NEO. I found this in the car, which no one I spoke to are able to explain to me what the heck this thing is and how to shut the light off. Could some one tell me about this item? Refer to the bottom right of the bigger picture for the location of the detailed picture. http://users.tpg.com.au/topspeed/Big.JPG http://users.tpg.com.au/topspeed/Detail.JPG I am guessing it is a service indicator light for the car, but what is it supposed to indicated? That it was serviced on 1000km and 5000km when it was first purchased?
  23. Any one know how to take the console out of the R34s?
