I was behind a landrover discovery this morning. The dude was doing 40 in a 60 zone with soft bends and each time he went around a soft bend his 4WD had so much sway in it that it almost tipped over. I dont know why these things are allowed on the road. It so obvious they are unsafe!

Its sorta like the VL's with the RB powerplant but the opposite. I know why they have done it - its power to weight. But if thats the case why not use a R32 body or even a S13? The more I think about this the more confused I get...

I was going by the name in america. Which ofcourse is G35. I am never wrong so you must get use to it.

Driving through Victoria Park and noticed a G35 in that import place I think its Skippers. Stopped to have a look coz its the first one I've seen in oz. It had a sign in the window saying "not ready for sale" so I am guessing they are maybe having problems with compliance seeings that it is probably the first. It was a 4 door which I am not too crash hot about but maybe this means we can look forward to the coupe coming here soon! Seen some pictures of modded coupes in america (infiniti G35) with gull wing doors, 20 inch rims, etc and they look hot. Took some pictures with my crappy picture phone...

idiot this morning doing 70 in a 80 zone and dropped down to 55 coz there was one of those surveying things on the side of the road. "that sure looks like a speed camera - better go 25 under" friggin knob jockey.

Australia should addopt one californian road rule. If you are driving on a road, even with one lane and there is five or more cars banked up behind you, you must pull over and let them past. This is actually the law there. If you dont do it you can be booked. It would definitely put a stop to several dozen cars being banked up behind one idiot doing 70 in a 90 zone. They may actually then realise that the speed limit doesnt mean u can do any speed lower than it even if you are crawling but actually have to do close to that limit.

Hilux, Rodeo and Hiace's are purpose built vehicles. They are made for deliveries/jobsides/tradies. And in general this is what they are used for. 4WD/SUV's are purpose built vehicles too. I have no problem with that. The problem is people buy them as a gimmick. They buy them because they are big. Not because they are going off road. People who own big trucks and vans buy them because they need them. People who buy 4WD/SUV's buy them because they can.

They look back at you? One of my major problems with Perth drivers is they never check their rear vision mirror! only care about themselves getting infront of the slow truck and what not...

My gf had a 4WD run into the back of her when she was living in QLD at 80km/h. He barely hit the brakes. Hit her so hard it smashed her into 5 cars in front of her. Put her in hospital and they said if she was in any other car she'd be dead. Lucky her first car was a Volvo 244. After the accident the boot lid was in the back seat. It was deemed the 4WD fault for all the cars as enough stopping distance was left. There was a brand new merc and some other exotic in the pile up (alot of expensive cars in surfers). He had 3 kids and no insurance. He just ruined his family's future. Serves him right for putting my gf in hospital & owning a 4WD.

But that is a 4WD problem. I guarantee the driver was thinking "I got a bigger car, I'll just push them arround. You think if that same driver was behing the wheel of a Holden Astra he wouldve tried to bully you? Do you think you wouldve been as intimidated? It is definitely a 4WD problem you encountered.

Hows this for a bad driver. The other day I was behind someone who took off slow at lights so I overtook them in the left hand lane before it merged into one. He then put his high beams on me so i slammed on my brakes. He grabbed something in his car and held it up. He was an OFF DUTY POLICE OFFICER and he was showing his badge! He then tail gated me and when it split into two lanes again he sped up beside me and wound down his window and started shouting at me. He had his wife in the passanger seat and kids in the back so I proceeded to stick my finger up and yell "your off duty buddy f#$% off!". Mind you he was in the right lane doing this and cars behind him were beeping and stuff. He pulled in front of me and at the next set of lights i pulled out my wallet and showed it to him and yelled out "I got a wallet too you tough c#$%". What a wanker honestly. I thought cops were suppose to be patient and stuff. Man yelling at me infront of his family. I reckon I couldve bashed him easy. A badge doesnt give u the right to road rage. He was on a power trip. Wow hes an off duty police officer. He can drive like a dickhead and not be overtaken.

Alien vs Predator Big fan of Alien and Predator. Put them together along with no plot line that sees someone use a Alien head as a sheild and Alien Tail as a spear (how tacky). Not saying it was rubbish but they were dealing with two of the biggest cult movies of all times and combining them. Even George Lucas would have come up with more of a story line. Shame on you whoever ruined it!

And whats with putting bull bars on SUV's? "Theres a slight chance I wont kill someone in a hatchback, I know, I'll put a bull bar on and that'll definitely kill them." And it aint for kangaroos either because most people end up claiming on insurance to repair the bullbar anyway. So you will have to pay an excess anyway. It is purely for mowing down small children and killing people in small cars. Heres the stereotypical person who drives a 4WD - A Selfish Bully who would kill an innocent child before they harmed a hair on their own head.
