Damn thats some mighty fine info and very well explained!!. Ok so if i get the ECU replaced then do i need this fuel bleed? , or say if i get the fuel bleed and then decide to go a new ecu , do i need to remove the fuel bleed? All I know is ive gotta improve the fuel econ somehow, or its going to cost me an arm and a leg to keep filling up. One that note I currently use Ultimate 98, but only prob is there arnt many stations that sell it (West tce, Cnr Sth/henley , and Cnr Anzac/Sth are all i know of), so just wondering if you have ever used the Mobil Premium Unleaded?..... its says 98 ron on the pump but still not sure if its as good as Ultimate 98? Still cant believe we dont have Optimax here yet, they had it when I was in canberra like nearly 2 years ago now!.

hehe goes very good , love that car. Attracts more attention that mine tho!! hehe. We are basically even , I can keep my nose ahead of him until about 110 when the V8 torque kicks in and past he goes. Cool im very keen to find out about this fuel bleed, better econ with more power sounds awsome to me :burnout: :burnout:

Best Importer has to be XXXXX, I can talk from experience because I got my R33 thru them, they know there stuff and dont bullshit u. Worst in my books is XXXXXXX, I originally went there looking for info and wanting to import and got treated like a dreamer, unless u go in there with the money hanging out your pocket they dont give a rats about u. As for dealers the most shonky are either "XXXXXXX" and "XXXXXXX" ...stay well clear. XXXXXXXX has shonky shit and over priced cars, and XXXXX charges double what the cars are actually worth, basically both ripe off the unknowing. Also I would try to get the most stock as car u can find, the less mods the more chance u have of getting a car that hasnt been thrashed.... for example a car with aftermarket turbo, FMIC, ECU upgrade etc u can pretty much bet its been hammered. At the end of the day if u want a good car go to an importer, if u want to get rheemed both with the purchase of the car and service after then go to a dealer. Not to sure about who to inspect a vehicle , as mine was imported for me so Regency did that when they complianced it. this post has been edited by meggala if you need the names pm Driftspec

Phew thank god its normal, def have to get this improved tho , 300km per tank is crazy stuff. Ok first question what does "A/FR mod's" mean?? And what aftermarket ECU did u get? , I am looking at an Apexi PowerFC but well not for a while due to cost. This fuel bleed sounds good , how does it work? (spot the Turbo Newbie ). Went for small crusie with the "Jaffa" today , no one was out cruising.

damn isn't it crap weather today!, nothing to do but stay indoors and watch tv and surf the net... ahh well good excuse to do so . Thats not a bad price, looks like exactly what i will be after when its due, only want to stay single plate as twin plate would suck so much in traffic. Did u get this done at RPM? , more than likely ill get it done at VMS as I know them well tho. So is the RB20DET box not strong?, hope RB25DET box is stronger , dont feel like having to get the gearbox rebuilt. All up tho I hardly ever drive that car hard. Actually on the note, I did the fuel test, I can only get about 300km to a tank of Ultimate 98, and that is mostly driving off boost with the occasional boost when seeing a Commodore at the lights Most of this driving was done in the city with a few trips up the freeway. Is this what you guys get?, I was def hoping for better fuel econ!. The car does seem to backfire on gear changes now and then, so I think its def running a bit rich, think I may have to take it to RPM to get a tune done.... I reset the ECU and didnt seem to help.

U prob right Aaron hehe, Hmm but dunno got a feeling it may be clutch as mine doesn't churp as easily now as it used to, think may have to drive more cafeful for a while , dont feel like blowing the clutch just yet haha. how much is a new single plate for a GTSt? , one that will last any beating? ahh i know is it cant handle real high rev starts , slips like hell , its ok on like 3k starts but anything over and its no go.

Umm all that was mod was the suspension. Adjustable Damper and height Endless Zeal coilovers, about 3.5k worth according to there website, so happy with that.... can hold about 140km/hr down main south on windey bits with them so all good everything else stock , which is good in my eyes , less chance of it having been thrashed. I rekon I have lost power tho , seems like it doesnt have the kick it had at first , i think maybe clutch might sorta be slipping, think its stock. I may be imagining it , prob just getting used to the power of the car now.

I finally have a radio too , borrowed from VMS, jap one so no fresh fm , need to get a converter i think, so will have to make some tapes i think
