I'm gonna borrow the scan tool for the weekend so I can see the Ecu temp and not just the Guage Thanks for the advice about the thermostat guys ill see if the Ecu is reading right if not that will be the first thing And what do you mean by front pipe? I'm new to turbo so it's all confusing to me I figured out my boost problem. My bov was leaking so loosing all the low pressure untill it started to pump up in the higher revs

Thanks guys Yeah with the alloy radiator it has a temp sensor in a weird spot and the exhaust has the o2 sensor just welded in so that will be fun changing We will pull out the diagnosis tools at work today and we will see what we can figure out Ill look at prices today and see what I can do but nothing will be done till I can save up the 830 for rego So you think they sway bars to start with?
  3. Il be sticking to stock turbo just doing after market bov and eboost maybe aftermarket intercooler Yeah I thought the thermostat but it opens and pressureises and stays hot. And I got told that will also be why my car is so fuel heavy I'm getting like 250-300 a tank is that normal? Also where can I get a good aftermarket thermostat are the Nismo any good?
  4. I can see what your saying. And I can respect that But I swear to god my car has rediculous lag the turbo only kicks in when it's over 4500 Is something wrong there? Also my cooling temp stays really low like only a third of the way up the Guage and that's in traffic
  5. hey guys not sure it anyone has posted this yet but i did my air con tensioner bearing today it was squealing something chronic! the bearing to replace is a 6301 just press in and press out to get to it i took the fan out, undid the pulley and took it out, then i loosened off the tensioner and did the bearing put the pulley back on and tensioner the belt locked it off and fan back on easy as that. any questions fire away nissan wanted $132 for the pulley and that was with trade discount! spent $4.60 on a bearing and fixed!
  6. i should probably change that its not im trying to be smart im just excited that i can drive it. i can totally agree that would frustrate the hell out of me. i like the idea of coil overs but i will have to find the right set so my car isnt any lower, im also looking at white line sway and strut bars
  7. Thanks yeah I have driven past to many police and even had a copper ask me about the car and if I like it the other day while I was at super cheap Leaving it stock just maintaining and doing visuals till I'm on my opens Might do suspension soon tho

  9. What type of car is it? I just got mine for a r33 gtt. I dyno'd and weighed it and got approved no worries. Not to sure on Vic rules but if your car is 125 at the wheels or less than it is at the legal max at the fly. If it is look into it and apply On another note. They are REALLY!!! REALLYYYY thirsty. I can see your reason but I agree with the 4 cly n/a thing, I'm considering going back to my ford focus and driving the skyline on weekend so I can wait till I get a pay Rise to pay for fuel.
  10. Ok for one. I do drive it for work running for parts dropping off customers and picking them up. And i have a moderately power exemption it does not need a reason for it. It isn't a loop hole, it's there for cars that are turbo but don't have the power of a turbo. And all the cool kids drive there skid pig commodores. You should of been at the mighty car mods meet today and seen all the p platers with turbo cars. And all the idiots driving stupidly. And you know what as I said I have had it with the negativity Plus what's the difference of me getting a n/a and just going out and being that stupid p plater like you are all portraying. The difference is some kilowatts. And that is it. So get over the turbo fact and can we get back to the point of this whole forum. General discussion and advice about cars. Not ragging on me because some people have a problem with me. If you have a problem..... Simple!....... STOP REPLYING AND LOOKING AT THIS THREAD!!
  11. I am absolutely sick of all you haters about me driving a turbo. If you have nothing to say don't say it. There is no reason to be Nasty you wouldn't do it to a person On there opens its just because I wear that little plate. I did it all legally and got approved GET OVER IT! Yeah none of those ridiculous mods it has 18 chromies on it... I hate them. I want to put te37's on All I'm doing is just changing everything back to stock with the engine for now to stop any extra attention.

  22. I can see where you are coming from with that. How much would it be for the harness bar with both the back seat and top bolt mounts. I like things to be secured properly when they are in so the more points I can mount it to the better.
  23. No silly driving just my grandparents are all anal about saftey in cars like breaks and tyers They said they wanted me having bigger breaks and slotted and drilled on the car I said I will just get slotted rotors and new pads to fit what's on there.
  24. Thanks Is there any other difference with the 94? One of my grandfathers coworkers is a skyline nut. And says that a good mod for me to do would be upgrade the front hubs to r33 gtr hubs (hubs rotors and everything) he said the reason for this is to go from 4 pot calipers to 6 pot Would this be worth the effort?
