I see some 40th Anniversary Edition with the interior/exterior being immaculate will probably cost around 100,000 yen so landed in australia around 4,500 - 5,000 plus compliance and rego they normally sell the 89-98 Minis with 1.3 injected in australia from 11,000 - 20,000 and they are very rare

How about those 1989-1998 Year minis like the fuel injected ones? I've seen some in australia and a company selling imported Mini as well but way over-priced I'm guessing its possible but more strict? like comliance side of way???

I just read something that you can import ANY car PRE 1989 is this true?

If you can read japanese characters and have a map I think its very easy cos the address is very spot on, it tells you the block and where exactly it is.

we already came back from our holidays we stayed in a ryokan/backpacker style house west of Ikebukuro for 10,200 YEN for 3 nites which is very very cheap! downside is the heater is coin operated! 100 YEN for 2 hrs but the place is good enough they got cable tv as well! hehehe

Hey Just wondering if I can import an old mini from Japan to Brisbane not sure of the law, i heard that you cant import if the car is available in australia??? You ask why Mini..... cos they are sooooo cheap over hear in Japan so would really want to know if I can buy one and take it home. I only here in Japan for holidays 3 months Any advise would be great Cheers!

just found out R33 with R34 front conversion is already available in Australia for AU$2,999 R32 - R34 is also gonna be available soon as well

I noticed theres a a lot of mini's in Osaka and Tokyo, I see them more often than Skylines, Silvias, etc Then I was browsing yahoo auction and they are auctioning heaps of minis very cheap compare to australia. I saw a mini starting bid from 50,000 yen , 100,000 yen to ridiculously high. But average good condition is just floating around 100K YEN thats very cheap!!! and these conditions are way better than the ones I've seen in australia. Is it possible to import mini's from japan to australia? i know they're available in australia but damn they sooo cheap! the only killer will be shipping, tax and compliance Its very tempting....

Hi Anyone knows a cheap and safe way sending car parts back home? from Osaka to Brisbane to be exact. I got a metal Grille around 150cm length by 30cm 13kg and possibly 4 x 15 Inch wheels EMS or SAL will be the cheapest option that i know right now... instead of going through private packing/moving company. How about going through Exporters/Importers? like they can put my stuff in their container right? If anyone could help me out that would save us a lot of money as we are on a budget as well. Hi Im in Osaka right now but cant find what I'm looking for. Im looking for a pair of fender mirrors, GT badges, front lip spoiler, flares and a centre steering wheel badge. the car is Skyline C110 or 240K in australia If anyone can help me out locating these parts or point me to the right direction I would be very greatfull Front Spoiler, Over Fender Flares GT Badge Fender Mirror - from Spirit Garage they cost 28,350 YEN thats a bit expensive for a pair of mirrors Or if anyone can bid for me in Yahoo Auction that would be very great as well.
