I recommend you book or make a reservation 1st to save urself a headache later walking around looking for a cheap hotel. Check with your travel agent normally they can give you good packages. Also look at JR passes if you are planning to travel a lot by train will save you $$$ If you have a big budget for accomodation it should be fairly easy as you could check in with those expensive hotels. Right now during holidays its very full as we had a very stressfull days sorting out our accomodation, not sure about after 13 Jan. Goodluck maybe I might see you at the TAS 05

is it reasonable to rent a car in tokyo to drive around like to mt fuji maybe niigata as well? would it be cheaper just to take the train?

if its 6,000 yen per day how come the friday - monday rate which is 4 days is 9,000 yen??? isnt it supposed to be cheaper rate cos its longer? yeah we're on a budget im searching for backpacker hostels now...

Hi My GF and I are planning to go to Tokyo during the holidays... (I know its a bit late) so far we found Capsule Hotels Capsule Hotels are fairly cheap but very few acccepts female guests. 1,900 YEN for double Hotel New Koyo 2,500 yen each/night Anyone knows more hotels as most of them are going to be fully booked. We decided to take the night bus Osaka - Tokyo for (9,500 Yen Return) We might go skiiing or snowboarding around NAGANO as well still not sure where though. Would like to see hokkaido or sapporo but too far and expensive just for the transport. Cheers!

Hi just want to know the museums in Japan worth visiting Can anyone list the museums/places if possible their addresses as well I saw a website Prince & Skyline Museum but not sure if address is complete Inside of the Okaya-shi, Nagano torii common or a まびこ park cos I dont wanna go to museums and then when im there its close as someone told me & ive read somewhere that sometimes the museums closes not sure the reason. Very new in japan and I would like to purchase a push bike for my own transport to get around osaka as I wont be buying a car EVEN THOUGH its really cheap cos Im going back home after 3 months My question is where can I buy a 2nd hand bike in Osaka area as I dont really wanna buy a new bike (no point) as im leaving it anyway.
