  1. The BOV will bolt on to R33. It was taken off my R33.
  2. Check your timing. Try retard your timing 5 degree to see if that still happen. Might be your fuel (use 98 octane)? What boost are you running? Maybe your compression ratio not right. There are heaps of possibility.
  3. Hi all, Have some stuff that need to get rid and its for sale. 1. Apexi bov $50 (SOLD) 2. HKS turbo timer $50 3. Acer 17" LCD monitor $ 180 4. XForce 3" inlet and dual 2" outlet Muffler $50 (SOLD)
  4. Well correct me if I am wrong. Black smoke = too rich in fuel. White smoke = burning oil. Blue smoke = enginge problem. I used to blow alot of black smoke running 10psi of boost and when I went for a dyno tune, my A/F ration was toooooo rich. Have it tune with SAFC and the smoke was gone and power went up 20rwkw. So if it is blowing black smoke dont worry to much.
  5. Hi all, I am thinking changing my stock fuel regulator as it is "stuff". Been finding a 2nd hand stock one for sometime and no luck. Sick and tire of that, decided to buy a new one. Done some search and I am freaked out about the diffenent types. Rising rate 1:1, 1:7.......blah .......blah. The Nismo one seems all right but there is no specs on them. Not sure its a rising rate type but it seems to be easy in installation and quite cheap. Anyway, before I buy any of that, I would like to know more about the difference between the stock and after market fuel regulator. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers!
  6. Anyone? Really need to get rid of it.
  7. Hi everyone, Just thought I put it up in this section first before on Ebay. Its a Stainless Steel XForce muffler from R33. Will bolt straight on to R33. It has 3" inlet and a twin 2" outlets. Nice and low tone. Asking $50.
  8. Hi there! Looking for a good and used factory R33 fuel pressure regulator. If anyone want to sell, please PM me. Thanks!
  9. It is normal for the voltage to jump around and it should be the case. Only faulty O2 sensor will stay @ 0.3v constant. Otherwise, it should jump around 0.6v to 1v @ 2000rpm (crusing speed). Other way to test it is to measure the resistance (but it is only a crude test). Unplug the terminal of the O2 sensor, there should be 3 pins in the O2 terminal. Measure the resistance between the 1st and 3rd pin. It should read about 2.6 +- 2 ohms. Anything outside that indicate O2 faulty. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A VERY CRUDE TEST. ONE SHOULD MEASURE THE VOLTAGE OF THE O2 AT 2000RPM FOR A BETTER INDICATION.
  10. Put a multimeter between number 29 wire of the ecu and ground to check the voltage while reving at a constant 2000rpm. IF STAY CONSTANT AT 0.3V, O2 IS GONE. IF STAY BETWEEN 0.6V TO 1V ITS GOOD.
  11. Can anyone with a multimeter take readings of their water temp sensor when cold and hot (normal operating temp)? I just need to compare to mine as I suspect mine is gone. My reading for cold is 2.35 kohms and hot is 0.35 kohms. THANKS!
  12. 4.5psi @ what RPM. Standard skyline have 2 stage boost. 5psi below 5000 RPM and 7psi above 5000 RPM.
  13. Hi all! Just wondering if anyone has put in 20mm to 25mm wheel space? Are these thing safe?
  14. Mate! I have a pair front wheel bearing for sale if you want it. Its genuine Nissan parts. Thought it was the wheel bearing gone but turned out to be my tyres. Its for series 1 though. I think its the same for all skyline. PM me if you want it.
  15. Mate! Give just japs a call. I bought mine ( R33) for only $80 each.
  16. Well I just got my SAFC tunned. It was the old school 5 nobs type. I have to take off 10% of fuel to gain 20 -25rwkw across the rev range. The car felt good at the top end and was pulling much harder. Very happy.
  17. Hi there! Anyone used Gas Tune for dyno tunning? Thinking of going there for tunning my SAFC. Not sure they are all right?
  18. Hi there! Anyone selling R33 facrory fuel pressure regulator please PM me. Cheers
  19. Hi there! Can anyone help me the the part number for a R33 factory fuel regulator? Cheers!
  20. Ceels, I had the same problem a week ago. Try to tighten one of the nut and the stud snapped. Thinking of DIY but too much work involved. Need to take off the manifold for the 'Thread Doctor" to fix the snapped stud and didn't want to snap any more so decided to take it to ultimate tune in Phillip to get it fix. Replaced all 12 studs, a new gasket and now its sweet.
  21. sam, Did your old dash have the rubbery sort of paint? Mine does have that. Try to peel it off and it seems to take ages. Any quick way of taking it off? I wanted to use some paint strippers but the instruction said that not suitable for plastic. Dunno what to do now. Any help will be great.
  22. Well I took one morning and whole afternoon to get it fitted. Fits quite well. Have to "trim" the front reo bar a bit and have to trim the front bumber as well. The pipe lined up very well and the only thing that did not fit in at the end is my blinker as I have a series 1. Fit a cheap blinker from supercheap store and problem solved.
