Well, got my car back and that's exactly what I got, engine warning light is on, very annoying. So hard is it to get the warning light back to normal, can you help me out 666dan? btw, car made about 270 hp with emanage blue, fmic, blitz filter, exhaust and blitz i-color set at 0.9 high boost.

Hmmm not sure. I know if you were upgrading from blue to ultimate u will need to buy additional harness, so I assume it will work perfectly going backwards, just with a few wiring left out. I haven't actually seen it yet, only talked to the guys at 101 briefly over the phone. I am hoping to pick it up this weekend, if they can sort out the misfiring problem at high boost (one or more coilpacks need replacing I think). Dan

From my minimum mechanical knowledge. I had SAFCII on the 34 auto before, it was pretty good but it only works on air n fuel ratio tuning, with the emanage(latest firmware n software) u can also tune the ignition timing which will give you a bigger gain in power. Unfortunately PowerFC don't work with the 34 auto, otherwise I would have gone that way.

Well, all jumper setting are listed in the user manual, perhaps they thought they had it on Nissan setting. They did contact 101 and got the latest software, but I guess attempting to tune the car with wrong jumper setting killed it. Anyway, I think 101 got the car running with emange blue so I am just going to leave it as that for now. Thanks for the offer 666Dan, you wouldn't happen to be in Brisbane area are you?

Well, I’m not a mechanic so I wouldn't know much about it I was been told it had fried because the jumper was set to Honda Vtec instead of Nissan (don't how they can stuff that up). The guys at 101 put the emanage blue on my car now and it works fine, so I will leave it as that for now and the E-ultimate will be setting on my desk as a nice shinny chrome souvenir for the time been perhaps give ultimate another crack bit later on down the track, when everyone is running one in their auto.

yeah, bought it from Japan brand new. I guess I will take it back to MM sometime and see what they can do. I doult they will do anything though and they charge me for the installation as well.

Hi Guys I had my car at MM a while ago to get the emanage ultimate installed on the r34 GTT auto but they can't get it to work. I decide to take my car to 101 since they are suppose to be the ECU guys in Brisbane, and they tested my E-ultimate and told me that the unit is dead, because MM didn't set up the jumper correctly (setting for Nissan car) before they hook up everything and turn on the ignition. So FYI, find out if the workshop really knows what they doing before going ahead. E-Ultimate is pretty much like the emanage blue but with 3 times the information, so its very easy to #$@% up if not careful. D

But if its engine mount lose, shouldn't it do it all the time not just when Engine is warm up?

hmm. bugger. so changing the coil didn't fix the problem. I was seriously thinking of picking up a 6 pack splitfire coil n replace them all and hoping for problem solved. But I guess I will have to look else where. Anyone else got the same problem and had it sort it out?

Got the same problem with my 34 GTT. It only seem to show when car is warmed up. When the oil temperture pass 90 degree and sitting idle the random shake and you can hear spluttering sound from the exhaust.

yes they are good. I bought the Blitz sbc i-color n the emanage ultimate from them and they were willing to translate the manual into English for me, if I fax them the Japanese manual. D

The latest news from MM this morning, sad but true. The final decision has been made, the guys at MM had tried their best and had contacted all the people they known but still can't get it to work. Basically, when they connect up the whole unit to the ECU, the car runs rich at start and as the car warm up it start to run thin and then the engine will cut out, plus the auto assist goes funny, when they put the car into drive, it always start in 3rd gear not 1st. And please don’t comment on the technical ability of MM, unless you have successfully done the installation and tuning of the “Emanage Ultimate” on a R34 GTT automatic. So unfortunately, we are calling it a quit today, there's no point of dragging it on without any more information. So on till there's more info available for the ultimate unit n GTT auto setup, then I shall bring my car back to the workshop. Please let me know if anyone else has the unit and had it working with R34 GTT automatic in the future. Good luck Nox, hope you can get yours to work, and please inform us if you do get yours working.

Well, I actually print out the whole english manual for them, I guess either the wirediagram is bit hard to follow or they never read it. I don't know. At least everything is hooked up now and the car starts, will Have to see what else can go wrong and hopefully getting my car back before this weekend. Hey Nox, are you in Brisbane as well? Have you decided on which place to go to get your ultimate install? I guess MM will be the best place to go once they get my lab rat sorted. Coz by then, they will know how to wire up and what will go wrong.

well, they gave me a quato of one or two days to get it fitted and tune, but endup been almost two weeks now. I guess because the Emanage ultimate now have all these new stuffs to work with auto, the wiring of fuel+ignition+ auto assist got complicated or something. I don't know, not a tech head myself. Anyway, will have to see if the result is any better than say a blue Emanage.

OK just some update on the progress of emanage ultimate... Got a call from Trent at Mercury Motorsport over the weekend, He say they finally got the car started with the unit installed, now they just need to do the tuning and hopefully they won't be too much drama in that department. Trent told me it was pretty much the 1st emanage ultimate installation in QLD, not sure if he meant on GTT or all car, as they were trying to compare notes with other technicians. Praying it will finally be done today of tomorrow. Oh btw, the Blitz SBC i-color is done.

OK. Got some answer from Mercury Motorsports. Since My car still at the workshop. They are having trouble with the emanage ultimate wiring for the GTT, one of the injector won’t fire or something. Has anyone else got this unit installed and can share some lights? I heard Autobarn sell greddy stuff, does anyone know if they sell and install the unit (emanage ultimate)?
