  1. I hate ebay with a passion!! Have sent you a PM Basho
  2. haha I didn't really notice the parking sensors but you guys are probably right, not much I can do about it now though as I'm already in the UK. Have had 5 people save it as their favourite on car sales so I guess thats a start. Still gutted I'm selling though it's like giving up the family dog.
  3. Great thank you for the advice fella's I'm from Queensland and bought the car in Queensland but lived in Sydney for a year and didn't bother changing the rego, I had a strange inkling I was going to move again ha! Im definitely going to pay another 6 months on rego as by the sounds of it my dad is having fun with it on the weekends. Will keep price as is.
  4. Hey Guys Now this isn't a sell my car thread but just looking for a bit of advice. I've recently moved to the UK due to my partners family reasons and I have had to unfortunately put my car up for sale Was thinking about transporting it over but the costs of doing that and the prices of cars here won't make much sense doing it. So I'm a complete Numpty in selling a car privately as I have never done it before and I have had my ad up on car sales for a week and half now and I have not had one person contact me. I've got it up for $12,500 which I thought was a fair price considering the condition my beloved V35 is in but i guess not here is the ad I put up http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Nissan-Skyline-2004/SSE-AD-3101714/?Cr=16&sdmvc=1 So any advice on what I should be selling it for? I'm in no rush to sell, it's currently sitting in my parents massive garage with no finance owing but I'm wanting a few people to be interested in it
  5. yeah was in a bit of a rush this morning when I tried to clear it using the steps mentioned and didn't work but just tried this afternoon and it cleared it by turning it on and off 4 times phew Now hopefully it wont come back before I sell it eek! Moving overseas and it has been an outstanding car since I've owned it and don't need the hassle of trying to get it fixed.
  6. Noooo just as I put my V35 on the market I get into my car this morning and the bloody airbag light starts flashing Gold Coast Nissan don't touch imports apparently and I can't find other mechanics who have the system to clear the warning grrr
  7. I just drove from Sydney (northern Beaches) to the Gold Coast on one tank of fuel For a 9 year old V6 I was pretty impressed.
  8. ACA could have walked into any one of those car dealers on that road and found a dodgy car. Who was the guy is Brisbane?
  9. Hello Been lurking this forum for a few months now, seems to be a wealth of info in regards of these cars which has been helpful. As the title says I'm about to purchase a Skyline 350GT (if all goes to plan) pick it up this coming Friday and can't wait! Bit about me I recently came back from living in London for 5 years, got a job in Sydney and whilst I live pretty close to work I realised I needed a car. Have only owned 2 previous cars beforehand - 1984 Holden Astra (lol) and then upgraded to a new Lexus IS200 back in 2003. Loved the Lexus but now wanted something a little sporty and with a bit of grunt. Had a budget of $15-20,000 and carsales kept on coming up with these cars. Whilst I kept on test driving other cars nothing really grabbed me. The second hand car market in Oz is woeful, Euro's here are so overpriced its not funny and could only find ones that had their day. Hyundia's and kia's were boring and Toyota's.... don't even go there. So I found one in Brissie, got a glowing RACQ report and have purchased it. Go back up this Friday and should be a fun drive down. Thanks for reading my boring story haha Its only a grey auto model so it won't wow anyone here but damn these cars are attractive and I think value for money. One question though, anyone know of a decent mechanic who services these cars in the north shore area?
