  4. Thanks for the help, I am buying it for the rice factor but also because I want to be able to raise and lower the limit. I have a Haltech but would like the controller right there instead of having to get on a laptop. How long does delivery usually take??? Brisbane?

  8. The current exhaust on my car is pretty loud and I'm considering ways to quieten it down so I can try and stay out of trouble.. Has anybody got aN APEXi ECV installed on there cars? Do they make much difference? Would they resrict flow even when they are fully "open"?? Also, where would be the cheapest place to buy one?? Cheers
  9. Would there be much oil/gases going out through the breather, whether it's a filter or going to the intake piping?? Or is the majority caught in the can? Looking at getting one myself.. Anything to stay away from??
  10. It did and I had it working alright with the old actuator-type setup. But I can't find where I have put the instructions now so I don't know how to set it up..
  11. I am trying to figure out how to set up my Greddy Profec B II on my new turbo setup. On the gate itself (Tial 44mm) there are two places where I can connect the lines from my boost controller into. But I' not sure which to go to and whether I have to block the other up or not???? I have the other vacuum line coming from the solenoid going to my plenum, but it is T-pieced into another line because I have nowhere else to put it.
  12. It's as if you were jumping on and off the throttle while in gear, causing the car to "hop". In a jerking sort of way. The rubber center bearing where the tailshaft goes through is also pretty much ripped apart/worn. Could this be the problem?
  13. I've had this problem since I bought the car, when I try to drive slow in pretty much any gear the car will start to "hop" and doesn't stop unitl I put the clutch in.. The car is a 180sx with an RB25. Would a worn/stuffed wheelbearing be the cause of this? How much are they worth and where would be the best place to get one from? It also has R32 GTR hubs

  15. I have a set of R32 GTR wheels 16 x 8, good tread on the front with Falken Azenis on the rear which are worn a bit on the inside. Just wondering what I should get for these? They are in good condition with mindor scratches. Cheers

  17. I haven't played with the computer at all, but the last guy that tuned it made it a bit better but it's still pretty bad. I've also been told that it wasn't getting enough voltage. I have sinced changed the alternator and it's now getting around 13.3V Is this alright? Or should I be getting more??
  18. Might be a bit off the topic, but seeing as everyone is talking about ECU's... I've currently got a Haltech E6K, one of about 4 prototypes made if I remember correctly. Anyway I've got a set of nismo 740cc installed and my car will run like shit when started cold for about 5-15 mins of driving. I have been told by a few mechanics that it's the fact that my injecters are too big and the computer can't handle them. Also that it is "batch firing" 3 injecters at once. My questions is, would upgrading to a new model Haltech fix my problem with a good tune?

  20. One of my exhaust manifold studs has snapped off in the head and I'm wondering if it will be alright to just leave it like that. Or would it cause a leak? It was already snapped before I took the manifold off and there was no sign of leaking. But I'm now putting a highmount on and there will be fair bit more weight involved. Any help would be much appreciated.

RX7 S4/5 Hi-flowed TO4E internals Standard RB25 manifold Split dump pipe w/screamer Oil/water lines Has made 250rwKW @ 12.5Psi with inlet manifold,haltech,cooler,exhaust while misfiring.   24. I am upgrding my turbo/manifold so I will be selling my old one. I have an idea of what it's worth but I'm looking for other poeples HONEST opinions. I have not had the turbo off, or inspected but I have been told it is a S4/5 turbo which has been hi-flowed. And from as far as I can tell the manifold is the standard RB25, also comes with a split dump pipe/screamer. With this turbo I have made 330hp on 15Psi. I was told it could of made more but my ignition system isn't the best and my cooler pipes were constantly blowing off. I have the dyno sheet to prove it, just a matter of finding it. What do you think?
