  3. +1 for Shannons
  4. Thanks again mate, if you're sure it won't blow the bulb or something like that I will just go ahead and use the older cable with the CAN BUS unit until I find a new one. I know they never made this noise before which is why I was a bit worried about using it that's all.
  5. Thankyou very much for the detailed reply mate. I was having a look through my spare parts and I came across a cable like the one pictured below (ignore the ballast). I connected this and it made the bulb work but was giving off a buzzing sound. Would I be able to use this for now or do you think it would cause some damage not having the CAN BUS unit there? http://www.oemxenonshop.com/OEM-Xenon-Headlights-Parts/Infiniti-G35-D2S-Ballast.jpg Can you point me in the right direction for a complete kit to suit what I need? Just in case the other side goes..
  6. I've got a problem with one of my headlights (RHS) and hopefully someone on here can point me in the right direction. Just recently the light stopped working. I pulled the bulb out and gave everything around that area a few soft taps. Then it began working for about one day and now it has stopped again. I've switched ballasts over and bulbs and all seem to be working fine. From what I can see it is the below pictured cable and box that seems to be the problem. This goes through the actual headlight connecting the ballast to the actual bulb. Can anyone tell me exactly what this box does and where I can find a replacement? The headlights are aftermarket.
  7. I've got a brand new set of Vertini Fairlady 20x8.5 +25 and 20x10 +25 5x114.3 sitting here if anyone's interested. Never had tyres fitted and never been on a car. Still in boxes Pm me.
  8. I'm after a cheap LHS headlight assembly from a V35. Don't need ballast/buls etc and it doesn't matter if it has condensation/yellowing etc. PM me if you have something, Brisbane proffered.

  10. Anyone got a stock LHS headlight they want to sell cheap? Doesn't matter if it's got condensation etc.
  11. Anyone else got one laying around?
  12. PM replied mate, if anyone else has a stock ballast they want to get rid of please PM me.
  13. Thanks for the quick reply mate. I was hoping to get something local 2nd hand to save a bit of money but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. Pretty sure they are HID lights, just bought D2S 5000k bulbs thinking that one of mine was blown but it turns out it is the ballast from what I can tell. There is power going into it but not coming out the other side. I actually just came across the below ballast which should work for me? Although I may need to stuff around with the wiring a little bit and leave the old ones in there to seal the lights. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Replacement-HID-Ballast
  14. Can anyone recommend a place for a cheap headlight ballast replacement? New or used? The car is a 2003 V35 but has after market headlights. Although I think this is a standard ballast? Drivers side if that matters. Pics attached, any info would be greatly appreciated
  15. The car is an 03 but the lights are not standard and I'm pretty sure they will be HID as the previous owner gave me the standard lights with all the wiring etc. Any quick way to tell for sure?
  16. I just took some quick pics and they appear to be D2S. I had one of the bulbs out a while ago and it looked pretty much as the same as the one I linked although a different colour strip from memory. My low beam lighting is pretty poor right now. The right side is blown but the headlights seem to be aimed very high. I think the previous owner may have fitted the USD type instead of the proper JDM ones..
  17. Sorry to dig up an old thread, but are these what most people are using for low beam? My car does not have the same lights as what was purchased in the group buy but they are upgraded. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/130530352295?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_974wt_1202 Any place local to buy at a decent price?
  18. I am considering selling my set if you're interested. Probably a bit too aggressive for what you want but PM me if you're keen. Retail at $4500 just for the wheels but obviously I don't want retail for them. Tyres are Pirelli with good tread. They are Forge MS7 20x10 -0 front and 20x11.5 -0 rear. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=386160
  19. Much appreciated $400 FIRM if gone before the weekend.
